What is your hobby?

Ooooh...gun hobbies. Most people have a smartass comment to make when you tell them that you have firearms and target shoot as a hobby. I love trap shooting(12ga Mossberg w/poly choke) and sporting clays. I also do IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Assoc) which is about the closest thing a civilian can get on a regular and affordrdable basis to a "Hogan's alley". Aside from my Springfield XD-9 for IDPA my handguns are bigs(Taurus 454 Casull, DEagle 50AE) or littles(Colt .22LR, .17HM2 1911 conversion). My only complaint is the cost of ammo and I spent my hardware budget on PV gear so no reloading for me anytime soon

We order all our stuff online. There's nowhere cost effective in town. It is dh's hobby. Though some things cross over. He took my rock tumbler that got a whole in it so he could clean the .41 shells while the .9s were in the vibe, and I stole one of his .9 ammo boxes for cartos.

webmastering and web design used to be a hobby but has recently started becoming a job.

I have more hobbies than time. (LOL)
riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, boating, playing poker, gardening, and atv riding. I'm sure that there are more, I mainly just want to live before I die.
I used to build and drive demolition derby cars, ran in at least 100 derbies and won several. but I got a little older and smarter and quit that.

good job cowgirl!! I wish I had time to still do mine!! guess I could get off the puter and do them... But its not easy to have them and do cakes- I need some latex gloves, cause mine stay stained up with all the colors I use.

But I LOVE your swirls, how did you do that?? I think I am gonna get me the stuff and do mine this weekend. I have been missing them for quite a while. and I would LOVE to do the swirl!!

My Simple Little Pleasures
If you look down the right side at her past blogs she has a LOT of different ones she has done. It's called water marbling, it's messy but fun! Not all colors will work with the water, I have this neon pink I wish would work, but it won't I've done more but not sure where the pics are. I generally just do my nails late at night. I work with kids all day and we do this experiment with food coloring that gets extremely messy so I know how you feel, I also work in the barn some days. I just come home, get the polish remover out then buff my nails to get it all off and redo them real quick

• Video Recording - end up recording a lot of helicopter flights
• Photography - do not do this as much as I should anymore
• Drinking - I suppose I do it enough to be a "hobby"
