What is your hobby?

Ive avoided posting here do mostly to the fact crafting is my main hobby. You all know I love playing with string. But I have other crafting hobbies I want to share one I did inspired by a posted thread here on ECF (wish I could find it again)
This poster made one, posted the told ppl to try to make it themselves. So here is my first attempt in woodworking ECF style....

Don't have a vid of my own but here another thing I'm skilled at...

OK so the OPer of this idea used wood blocks or solid pieces of wood.

I have wood laying around trust me. but for a "test" I cheeped out this wood is in fact a bowl bought at the dollar store (was filled with sea shells). lol
Under it a lil prize sized Frisbee for B day parties bought in a pack of like 8 at the dollar store. To catch juice drip that may accrue form cartos. A 1/2 and 1/8 paddle bit for the drill and a resp was all I had to pull out. Measured and marked each spot using graft paper.

Thanks for the tips Adrena! now if only I knew how to use my drill! lol
I saw some last year made of clay, and fired... thought it was a FABULOUS idea!! I'm a couch potato alot of the time, and most of my daily gear sits next to my chair. I'm constantly looking for ways to 'contain' it all!!

Here is my Hobby..I've avoided posting photos as...stuff you did two years ago seems kinda silly to post.
One finished example.

Then this one...is kinda special...I was in the middle of it when I found out I was pregnant. As I use 50% lead solder ..finishing it then was not an option. Hence the copper foil and it still being kinda gross looking. when/if I finished it will be gorgeous.

Since being pregnant I've had a couple issues...a newborn to take care of...plus we moved and I lost my work space. 0o

So..Brilliant plan last weekend. Turn the garage INTO..

This...where before you couldnt walk in there for all the half filled boxes everywhere and junk.
Yaaaa I have art space again.

Today I officially started a new project....got about two hours in before........

Sorry Turn head...what your looking at Was a plastic tote..filled with patterns, scraps of glass, tools...aka all my art stuff.

And this...is just Ironies big Fat bloody finger here.

doh - thats stinks but it could have been worse! Lost our place to fire before-not fun rebuilding and dealing with those insurance weenies!
