What kanthal to get?

I found some kanthal on eBay but don't know which one to buy to rebuild drippers and attys.
if someone can link me to where I can buy the stuff and what gauge kanthal to buy please so so,also need silica wick

What RBA are you rebuilding? What MOD will you be using it on? both silca and kanthal come in different sizes and while some recommendations are good generic advice, some devices need a certain size to perform well.

Hi Pink Dolphin,
Both places I have bought from more than once.
Vaporcigzz is nice to start with - 30' for cheap, but only 33 and 36 gauge. Haven't used the 36 yet, but the 33 gauge works fine.

More people probably use 32 gauge and I just made my first 30 gauge coil, but the ohms start going down fairly low with 30 gauge.

32 gauge is great for standard resistance, 1.5 to 2.2 ish ohms.
30 for 1.5 and lower.

if you feel real inclined they also have several articles and can teach you more then you ever wanted to know about wire lol

Make sure to order from temco's ebay store. I've heard reports of other sellers saying it's a certain amount of feet and lying.

I get my wire from temco factory direct and bypass ebay.

Temco, ebay or website. I got mine off ebay because for some reason the wire I wanted was cheaper through their ebay site. Yeah, I priced compared the same company, I'm cheap sometimes.

A big thanks to eHuman for his blogs, came in very handy for me when I setup my AGA T+, still using the solid wick.

I've read that when you order from their Ebay it's faster. Hell they always ship it one day after I order so it's a win to me.

There is also ribbon, but if you're new to RDAs I would suggest sticking with regular, round, wire for the meantime

Il be rebuilding nimbus,igo l,and trident on a chi and kingmod.
So 30g kanthal and 3mm wick?

30g kanthal and 3mm silica will work for those, 2 or 3mm ekowool even better than silica but not required.
