What Mesh and Kanthal for an AGA t2?

hi guys.

im about to buy an AGA t2, and i want to get some spare mesh and kanthal with it.
but what kind of mesh works best with it? and what kind of kanthal?
Mesh options are : 325, 400, 500
kanthal: 'ribbon' 0.15, 0.18, 0.20 and 0.26

Im a newb, but i'm ready for a better vaping experience and hoping it can turn into a hobby. im pretty handy so rebuilding shouldn't be that much of a deal.

With regulated device try 30 or 32 (.25 or .20) gauge and 4-5 wraps with 400 mesh. Check pbusardo vid for how too and his comments which I posted here. He is great and good honest reviews.

sid needs above 1.2 ohms I believe to fire.

Side note have a volt meter handy is a must.

What kind of mod are you using it on? The AGA-T2 was my first RBA, and I've always used mechs, so I went with 400 mesh and 28 kanthal, 4/3 wrap for .8 ohm, which continues to serve me very well. If you are using a regulated mod try 30 kanthal.

What juice are you going to be running in it? Conventional wisdom seems to point towards lower mesh numbers for thicker juices (higher VG content) and higher mesh numbers for thinner juices.

I don't have a T2, but in my other Genny attys, I have been using both 400 and 500 mesh and I vape 50/50 almost exclusively. I've noticed a tiny bit of difference between the two, but nothing that I can't attribute to my coil building skills (or lack thereof).
