What mod would you choose for a birthday present?

Hi all,

It's my birthday at the end of the month and my missus has asked if i want a vape thingy, if so what?

I could do with another decent mod. I currently run a Wismec RX 2/3 and alternate a smok TVF8 and a uwell Crown II on it but it would be good if i could have a decent mod for both tanks. I was toying with the idea of getting another RX but thought i'd have a look at what else is available out there.

So if you could have any mod as a present what would you pick?

Thanks for the replies, out of those the Smoat looks promising.

I've checked out some reviews of the RX300 and the Smok GX350 and i've discounted a 4 battery mod.

I like the look of the YiHi SX Mini G and the reviews are favourable but i bit pricey

If you're looking at a YiHi, then also look at a Therion 166. It's a bit cheaper and excellent for temp control as well. For a price/performance point the Smoant Battlestar is very popular. I don't have one and am relying on opinions of others around here I have faith in.

The Therion looks good.

I like the look of the SMOK G-Priv 220W Touch Screen. The ease of use with a decent amount of power is cool.

So choices so far are:

Price, performance, battery life, fit and finish.....I'd go with the VapeDroid C1D2, Dna 75 with a 26650. Awesome mod....that is, if 75w is enough for you. Seems to be about right for me, if not 40w overpowered....

Or a belated birthday present and wait for the DNA 75c to drop, including one I'm pretty sure was a short video on a VapeDroid model. I mean, get a DNA 75 and three weeks later have the 75c drop? And for the OP, it's not a matter of a fancy color screen, it's that they redid the whole thing so many of the functions that used to be accessible only through eScribe software on your PC can now be set right on the board/mod itself.

I have a VT75 rather than a VapeDroid, but I do like the board with a 26650 battery which seems to last a really, really long time.

I don't think 75w will be enough i'm afraid. I'm currently vaping at 160w on my RX which feels about right. My travel vape is a Kbox Mini at the moment and i use that at 75w and it's too weak for me but ok for out and about for now

If you're routinely vaping at 160W, you're better off with a 3 battery mod just for run time. Also, if you're a high watt vaper and not interested in something like temp control, so sense spending the extra on a DNA or YiHi board. Lots of excellent high wattage mods out there without as big a financial hit.

A 3 or 4 battery mod makes sense Eskie. I haven't dabbled in TC yet and i don't know if i will but it would be good to have the option there in case.

In fact i know absolutely nothing about TC vaping. I believe my RX2/3 has the ability though so if my next mod doesn't have TC i've still got it i think.

I don't use regulated mods much, but when I do i use DNA/Yihi boards.
