What my crazy (analog smoker) wife did yesterday.......

She decided that my vape gear was making me go crazy and ruining my health, so she took about $200 worth of my vape gear (SVD, SS Zmax, with Protanks and batteries) while I was in the shower getting myself ready to go to work, and took them to a creek near our house, and tossed it all in.........she believes that I'd be better off to go back to analogs......

The truth is that in the last six of the eight months since I'd quit the analogs, I've felt like a million bucks! I am of sharper mind than I think I've ever been in my entire life too.

So I took away her smokes, and now I feel kinda sick from smoking analogs because my order of 3 SVD's, 3 Protanks, and 4 batteries will take a few days to get here........and in the meantime......

Now I sit and wonder which one of us is the dumbest of the two....not sure really....

I would go completely berserk. I would destroy every single thing in the house and them dump her in a very... very rude way. But my girlfriend is a gem that fully supports my vaping lifestyle... I'm angry on your behalf.

She gave one back a couple of days ago. Apparently the creek thing was a fib.

If my wife did that we would be seeing divorce lawyers. She supports me even though she doesn't like the money expenditure and things are extremely tight right now for us due to some last minute family issues so the spending has stopped. I support her and she supports me and that's the way it should work. My ex might have done something like that, which is why she is my ex.

I know there are a lot of suggestions here to retaliate in a like manner.... once you go down that path you are in for a bad ride. Best just to move out and go see a lawyer or if you feel it, go to some counseling and see if it can be worked out. She has some serious issues she needs to work out.

All of this is assuming we know the entire story of course.

However, if this is the entire story then I am surprised this is the first time she has done something like this. It is a very controlling thing to do and a trust has been broken. The hardware issue is minor compared to the rest.

Good luck. No matter what you do. And I don't entirely believe it has to do with your health. We know cigarettes kill but she would rather you do that? Doesn't make sense.

I'm not going to say I haven't taken a bottle of Jack Daniels away from an ex and poured it down the sink because the time previous involved 7 cops busting down two doors, pepper spraying my entire wardrobe after that same ex barricaded himself in, and led to him being taken to a hospital to have his stomach pumped after he downed two complete bottles of pills to "dare" me that he wouldn't.

I don't consider that the same as tossing away someone's vape gear.

I'm REALLY angry with your wife.

If we are being told the entire story this is totally unrelated. For health and safety issues you did what you thought was best. No one can blame you for that.

Try not to give jfango too hard of a time. We can't help who we love. All we can do is buy a high pay-out life insurance policy on them and cut the brake lines (kidding). I've had to deal with some craziness. She may be a victim of her own emotions (bi-polar?).

I did that with my wife years ago over something she did that I didn't like but I can't remember what it was. It was like 18 years ago and the block is still going so I should really try to remember what it was because the block doesn't seem to bother her.
