Never had an intention to quit nicotine, just didn't want to die to get it.
I used 24mg for about a week, but had to be careful or I would get nic sick.
Dropped down to 12 mg, and I still mix my base at 12mg 5 years later (but then add 1/2 to 1 drop of flavoring/ml of base)

However I'm not a cloud chaser, and going through 5ml would mean it was a very long day.

When I first started vaping, both 18mg and 12mg made me sick as a goat. I had to start with 6mg, to be able to vape regularly. When the cigarettes were gone, about 3-4 wks later, I found that I needed to raise my nic level a bit; first to 8mg, then 9mg for a few months. When I recovered from my month-long smoking relapse, I started back at 10mg, and stayed there for about 9 months... until I got an Achilles, and found the TH just too much, at 10mg and 10w; I dropped to 9mg and 9w right away. Stayed there for a few months, then as it started getting into autumn, I decided to start slowly dropping more, so I could be at 5mg before cold weather set in, to see if that low level would help with my painfully winter-cold hands and feet -- because when I first started, in Feb 2014, I found that at 6mg, I *did* get some relief. So, I finally got to 5mg, very easily by dropping .5mg weekly. Haven't had sufficient really cold weather yet to know if the 5mg helps with my cold hands and feet, but I figure I'll stay at this level, unless/until my body lets me know it would prefer even less nicotine. No plans to discontinue nicotine use, since I'd like my marbles to stay right where they are. ;)

I started at 24mg since I was a 2 PAD smoker and being a noob vaper figured I would get the highest I could get my hands on. Now a year later I'm down to 6mg but have considered going back up to 12mg cause I take a few pulls, sit my mod down for a minute and repeat all day long.

may be when reportig nic milligrams we should also say the number of ml's per day. To me the number that's important is mg per day. I do 6 ml X 12 mg = 72 mg of nic per day, a number I will try to reduce to 25 mg per day, eventually.

My ml per day is more dependent on the device, than the mg. With a Kayfun, I was vaping 6-8ml per day. Now with my Achilles RDAs, never more than 5ml, usually about 4.5ml. Decreasing mg doesn't make me increase ml, probably because I decreased my mg so slowly, my brain didn't really notice. If I'd done one of those 12mg to 6mg or 6mg to 3mg leaps, then it probably would have made me increase, at least temporarily, because a 50% reduction is very noticeable to the brain.

When I was decreasing my WTA percentage a whole percentage point per month, the first week after the drop I often felt as if I couldn't vape enough, so I probably was vaping more frequently. With the .2% or .1% drops I've been doing weekly for the last several months, I don't really notice.

Started a year ago 4 mls @ 24 mg Unflavored or 15 ml @ 6 mg flavored. Doing the math, 96 mg a day tootle puffing or 90 mg a day cloud/flavor chasing. Just ever so slightly decreased to maybe 3.5 ml @ 24mg a day for 84 mg total. I have been using Unflavored about 90% of the time now so I don't really know what I would use in sub ohm set up.

I started at 22 mg/ml three years ago (and a bit more), about 10-12 ml per day, for a total nic exposure of 240 mg per day, plus or minus. I still had intense cigarette cravings for the first three months.

Today I'm at 1 mg/ml, 15 ml per day or so, for a total exposure of 15 mg per day, plus or minus a little.

So over 3 years, I'm down to a bit over 6% of my initial nicotine levels. My nic stash should last roughly forever...

Began smoking in 1968 while in the military (20 cents/pack). Started vaping in 2011 at 12 mg but continued to smoke about 4 to 6 butts/day. Increased nicotine to 24 mg and was able to totally quit tobacco. After about 4 months dropped back to 12 mg, then down to 6 mg after 1 year. About 1 year ago dropped again to 3 mg. Happy at 3 mg with absolutely no desire to smoke.

Started from the top now we're here? I've literally gone from the beginning vaping 24mg and 36 with an ego twist and a vivi nova. Ive even used vuse and njoy which are like 54mg and 45mg. Since then I stepped down to 18 and was even somehow dripping it in my magma at one point. Then I stepped down to 12 and was dripping that and running it in my subtank mini. I know vape 6 to 9. More so 6 in a crown and a dripper. I might step down to 3 and zero right before I go to bed. It's crazy how higher nic juices just kill my throat now. I went from high pg juices to high vg juices. I don't go any lower than 50 50 but I prefer 60vg and up. Sorry for the rant. What are yall's experiences?

You can't just look at milligrams per milliliter alone.

The two numbers to watch are:
    wattmilligrams per milliliter
    and
    milligrams per day.

Vaping 24mg/ml at 5 watts is equivalent to vaping 4mg/ml at 30 watts (in terms of nicotine)

    and

vaping 5ml of 24mg/ml is equivalent to vaping 30ml of 4mg/ml in terms of total nicotine.

My experience: these days I vape at maybe 10 watts, and might drop in a drop or few of 18mg into my rda on top of whatever is in there; I'd especially do that on mornings with my morning cup of coffee.
My main vape is about 1 to 3 mg/ml.
And pretty sure I go though 10ml a day.

Some of this "logic" is like swapping the daily bottle of vodka for a barrel of beer.

I stick to my 18-20mg/ml liquids and have had a quite steady consumption over the past couple of years. Not that I worry much about vaping, but nic is then least of my worries. Luckily it's also the nic I like the most about vaping.
