i personally have the same relative setup as the OP on an ego battery. i dont really remember the RES on the carto but, when i filled mine the first time, i didnt add any to the carto, just the tank. i let it sit and soak upright for 10 mins, then i laid it on its side and let it soak for another 20 mins. been great so far.

when i fill it back up sometimes i add a little too much and it gutgles. i just blow out some eccess and reattach it to my batt. ive had the same one for 3 weeks or so. i like the tanks and am in love with my vision clearomizers.

I currently use a Vivi Nova with a 1.8Ohm head (purchased from GotVapes for about $15) on an ego style non VV 650mAh battery while I save up for a Provari and some genesis style atty's.

What I love about my setup is that it is super simple to get to work well. Right out of the box Ive only had 1 out of 5 atty heads not wick right and my current atty head is about 3 weeks old and still going strong. Flavor is good, Vapor production is good, and TH is good as well. The Nova is super easy to fill. Just unscrew the top and add juice then screw the top back on. IMHO its a very newb friendly setup that is pretty much just fill and vape. Hope this helps :)

How often do you clean that atty?

At the moment I'm working with my first set of CE4s with Changeable Coils. Since they have the short wicks they tend to be more labor intensive than I had hoped for. But by that same token, since I get a lot of dry hits, I tend to wash the Heads/Coils every eventing. First I just let them sit in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for an hour or two. Then when I'm ready to work on them I put them under the faucet to clean out any Isopropyl Alcohol. Then onto Dry Burning using one of the CE4s that leaked on first use. Tends to work for me. In the morning when I have the biggest issues with Dry Hitting I just place a cleaned Head/Coil into the CE4 and I'm ready to rock and roll - oh and vape.

Keep Calm and Carry On y`all.

I clean it out maybe once a week ... If I think about it. I vape a clear mostly vg juice and I don't have a problem with gunk build up so I don't clean it often. I just fill it up 2-4 times a day and vape on. If I change flavors I'll rinse it out with hot tap water and then dry the wick with some paper towel. Fill with new juice and away I go
