What I am using is this

SMK 510 dual coil cartomizers

with this

Smoktech 510 DCT with various colors in Polypropylene materials

with the ego-c battery.

Any idea why the cartomizers are turning black and only lasting 3 days?

Hi Smewoo. Sorry you are having so many issues.

You have the ego c with the adjustable voltage......yes?

If so what voltage are you set at when you are vaping the dual coil cartos?

What liquid type are you using?

How are you filling the cartomizer before installing it into the tank?

How many holes does your cartomizer have punched in it?

I didnt see any of these questions asked so If you could provide some info we will try to figure this out with you...

Oh and welcome to the ECF....

...................

In reality a person can get a fairly decent vape from about any setup you want to name. The key is how you set it up (pun intended)

A good example of not providing the OP with any useful information - typical. Based on this, all model PV's provide about the same vaping experience IF you "set them up" correctly. I'm quite sure even a new person would see a significant difference in the vaping experience between an auto M401 mini PV (out of the box, so set up to manufactures standard) and a Provari with any atty/carto/tank, or a 5 volt GLV2 or a Silver Bullet with a Kick, etc, etc.

But instead, let's infer that the problem is the OP, not the device or tank, etc. Real helpful in the new members section.

Not sure I am following on what exactly is turning black. Also what is the pg/vg ratio you are vaping as higher vg might not be wicking properly causing you issues.

Edited to add

Also is it a darker juice? I know some of the tobacco juices I have gotten are almost black in color, and some say they can be harder on your equipment.

A good example of not providing the OP with any useful information - typical. .

The best favor we can do for new users is to get them to think about how to use whatever they use, instead of telling them that they need something else. Otherwise they just end up with like problems with whatever else they get.

As for juice getting darker in a carto, that's what juice does. Some flavors more than others.

As for that clearomizer, it wasn't worth a darn .... until I took the time to learn how to use it.

And in your first post you didn't provide any information that would actually help the OP but only inferred they were doing "something" wrong! With your backhanded insults, you forget we are suppose to try and help new members.

Second, eliquid will get darker over time, but I have never experienced or read of any ECF member stating that their carto turned "black" after a days use. That is not typical, so your comment that eliquid gets darker is again not helping this person. If you are not going to do more than infer that the new person doesn't know what they are doing, why comment at all.

Believe it or not, YOU are the only one I ever try to insult. Sooner or later you will figure out why. When you stop doing it to others, I'll stop doing it to you.

How is constantly telling people that if they dont have high amperage or high voltage that they don't know squat helping anyone?

Maybe you shoud blow the gunk out of a carto once in a while, and see what it looks like.

Some juices cause them to get dark quite quickly. This was a rather sweet chocolate flavor.

I believe almost every one is right on these last few pages it happens to us all with different juices, cart's, clearomizers , every thing changes color when its heated that is all that is happening to your and it burns easier cause it gets thick and wont wick right. happens to me all the time when i start to get that taste i wash it out and refill it and i am good to go

I am using a V2 cig (long with extended battery life), with blank cartridges. I use the metal drip tip to introduce the e-liquid into the cartridge. Works well for me! Very easy to do. I like the feel and look of the V2. For me, the larger vaping devices which don't resemble cigs, don't appeal to me. I am not an expert though and will certainly consider using different equipment in the future!

There you go again, just making up comments that I never made. I pointed out to the OP correctly that eGo's don't work with low ohm DCC's but that they reguire the proper amperage to work correctly.

Continuing to stalk my posts and make up comments that were never made helps no one and makes you look foolish.

I currently use a Vivi Nova with a 1.8Ohm head (purchased from GotVapes for about $15) on an ego style non VV 650mAh battery while I save up for a Provari and some genesis style atty's.

What I love about my setup is that it is super simple to get to work well. Right out of the box Ive only had 1 out of 5 atty heads not wick right and my current atty head is about 3 weeks old and still going strong. Flavor is good, Vapor production is good, and TH is good as well. The Nova is super easy to fill. Just unscrew the top and add juice then screw the top back on. IMHO its a very newb friendly setup that is pretty much just fill and vape. Hope this helps :)
