Oh and completely off the original topic, I'm thinking about getting a fuel+ charger for my phone, however it has multiple ports, a 1A and 2.5A USB connection which I could plug my battery in to. However I've heard some dodgy things about doing this from some people but that's typically with low quality I phone chargers. Would it be safe? It would be absolutely excellent if it is, with an istick I'm sure I'd be vaping on the go without fail due to its large battery capacity and then the capability to top it up if necessary.

Can't help you here. I charge my istick using the included USB charger and a wall wart. Works for me.

If you're in a hurry, use Amazon. If you want to save money and can wait, well, start here. The price includes free slow shipping. :)

https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10011027/2305001-authentic-eleaf-istick-30w-2200mah-variable

You're most welcome!

Damn. The price is almost too good to resist, £15-20 ish, that's a decent saving since I'm on a budget, infact the saving is almost enough to pay for the Nautilus (I still think I'm going to get the Nautilus, sorry Katya :) ). Well I think I'll check my bank account, if my cash has went through then I'll order it within a few days. Let me just bookmark that, thanks !

They really do look tempting. But I like the design of the nautilus hmmmm, I think I'll get the Nautilus but from FastTech, £30 so $45 dollars, not bad at all for a new set up. I like it, thanks everyone! (Especially Katya and DWH79)

i'd suggest mod first then tank but in reality imo it doesn't matter because unless you actually have a tank/atomizer worth using for a high wattage mod/mech mod it really don't matter what you get. what i did was i moved from a small tank to a bigger and imo better tank and then i got an RDA all within a month. since i have an RDA i am trying to get a new mod nothing too insane probably will hit a 200wat box mod and stop their for the most part then simlply buy more RDA's or rta's.

at this point upgrade what you feel needs to be upgraded. i got a 60wat box mod to start off with i barely go to 40watts with my current set up although i can i don't and because i dont go to high in wattage i upgrade my mod last

I would honestly say save up a little more money, and upgrade completely. Plenty of customers come into my shop, wanting to upgrade, and I explain to them that you'll end up wasting more money upgrading little by little. Save up, and get a variable box with at least 50 watts and a good sub ohm tank. Then you'll be set. You'll end up wanting to get those down the road anyway, why not skip a step and save some cash?

Well I partially agree with you all, I do like my EVOD, I have no intentions of getting rid of it either. It'd be nice to keep it as a backup and almost as a momento to remember my first gear. The same goes for the battery, but more so as a "just in case" item. I think I'll just order everything at once as you say, I don't want to make the stepping point between and I honestly believe I'd be happy with the istick 30w and the nautilus mini. That is at least for a while until I test the water with rebuildables and what not in the far future.

Ahem... You may want to rethink that recommendation. Before recommending sub-ohming to your customers, ask them about their vaping/smoking habits and recommend what would work for them. Some people do like or need sub-ohm vaping, many don't. I've been vaping for 6 years and do not sub-ohm. Tried, didn't care for it. I vape like I used to smoke--mouth to lung, sensible amount of vapor, good flavor.

One last thing, would an iStick mini 20w be okay?

Don't get the iStick 20--they are very inaccurate
Note, there is an iStick 20w, and a Mini iStick 20w. The issues were with the original iStick 20w. Then came the 30w and they were taken care of. The Mini 20w didn't come out until later, so I would presume (though I don't know for sure) that they have the same fixes as the 30w and everything that came after.

Honestly, there is only a 1% chance of you using the evod again once you upgrade.

I'm not so sure. AFAIK, the mini iStick 20 uses the same chipset as the original iStick 20 (and the same non-spring-loaded pin). Haven't researched it myself because I never wanted a mini (10 or 20 watts), but it's been discussed:

https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/eleaf-mini-istick-20-watt.682424/

Anyway, I'd still recommend the 30 to anyone who wants to try an iStick (or the 40--it's also nice and offers temperature control).

I suppose, but there would still be little to no reason to get rid of it. It's always nice to have something as a back up just in case things go wrong with the nautilus (I.e glass shattering). But yeah, I doubt I'd need it.

You may need it not only as a backup, but for sampling new e-juices. It's small and cleans up well. Just rinse the coil under running water and you're good. Or soak it in a bit of vodka for a few hours. :D

You really do know the score Katya :) yeah I think that would be a good idea. I already do clean my atomizer(s) out every 2-3 days, often when switching between flavours but not always. Mainly just to keep it in a decent condition. I think on Halloween I'll have a fair bit of vodka around so maybe ill do a nice vodka soak then :D

Edit - I usually just fill a sink with hot water (as hot as it gets, so it's almost unbearable to put my hand in) and then let my parts soak for 5+ minutes (often just the atomizer but occasionally the tank if I have strong flavours such as menthol which seems to linger and sometimes ruin other more subtle flavours)

Been doing it for a while.

Just keep in mind that those coils are disposable. There's only so much you can do to clean them. The actual coil gets gunked up, eventually, especially if you're using dark, sweet juices, and then only a dry burn will help. Kanger coils can be dry burned a few times if you're careful (plenty of tutorials on YouTube), but they won't last forever. They can also be rebuilt, but it's hardly worth the hassle, IMO--they are inexpensive.

I've already had to replace the original, that was within a week of buying it, it honestly seemed terrible from the get go. The new-ish atomizer seems much better. I'm only hoping to get another few weeks out of it and that's fine by me. By then I should have ordered my new parts any how so I think I'll only have to get one more atomizer before my upgrade depending on fasttechs shipping time. I'm really only expecting a fortnight or so out of each atomizer, especially at the heat they're churning out. I've had to adjust the battery pin/plate a few times but it's been fine for days now.

The nautilus and Eleaf gs are my favourite tanks. Cremedevape in the uk have the latest Eleaf gs tank for £12.95. Nautilis mini will cost a little more wherever you buy it from.

They also have the innokin mvp 3.0 at approx £28, 50% off. It's a largish battery but lasts sometime before needing recharging, mine works very well. 30 watts will be more than enough for the Eleaf and nautilus tanks, also enough to dip into subohming - at least with a kanger subtank.

As mentioned by others consider how you are likely to want to vape going forward. Personally I find no reason to subohming, I prefer tootle puffing, so a 20 watt mod is plenty for me. But if you are likely to start subbing then maybe a higher powered mod will future proof you better.
