What strengths do you vape?

What strength are you currently vaping?

I've started out at 18mg. So far so good, although I find the throat hits at this level over powers the flavour.

Would you say 12mg producing more flavour?

I'm looking to vape 18mg when I want a cigarette but not sure what strength to go for when chain vaping.

What would you recommend??

I started at 18mg within 2 weeks I ordered 12mg. I will stay at 12mg for awhile. I kicked a Dokha (strong Middle Eastern tobacco smoked from a small pipe) habit with the help of vaping. I may go to 6mg some time in the future, but doubt it. I couldn't care less about throat hit as I have rarely had anything give me a throat hit.

HI
I have tried this... buy or make a mix of favorite 24mg and a 0mg ejuice 10ml each then start mixing down ratio is 1 to 1 for half the strength every step. The amount of nic for me is 4 - 6 ill vape 5 - 10 min a time. Imo it depends on the length of time I had to vape that was the the factor in cravings when I started. I vape at work and sometimes only have less than 5mins or so, thats when I would go for th higher nic but soon found out I get a more enjoyable vape vaping lower nic with a "tighter" setup higher wattage more air flow more intake of ejuice.

I started at 22 mg/ml and I'm now down to 5. I chain-vaped through the entire sequence. :)

If you're still having cravings, it'd be smart to stay high enough that they aren't extreme and you don't risk lighting up a cigarette. Over time you should adjust and can ramp back the nicotine level.

I started at 18 and quickly lowered to 12. I'm at 6 now. I chain Vape. :vapor: I've noticed no difference in flavor. The only difference is throat hit. I didn't like that harsh throat hit with higher nic.

Oh, yeah, that. I can't say I notice any throat hit difference, really, but I vape a heavy menthol with a cinnamon secondary (I DIY).

Menthol and cinnamon both tend to generate a lot of TH all by themselves.

I DIY too. I'd say you are right about menthol and cinnamon. Anything with cinnamon gives a punch. :vapor:

I'm sticking to 6mg. It seems to be perfect for my taste.

I started at 36mg, did that for about 2 weeks, vaped only enough to get past the nic cravings, dropped down to 24mg and vape like a madman on my days off at home. At work I have to go about 2, 2.5 hours without, so I hit it pretty hard on my breaks.

I will prob stay at 24mg for a while, then drop it again.

I started with 18 mg and I still felt vague anxious feelings, although I didn't smoke. I got some 24 mg. and it did the trick. Perfectly comfortable now and staying that way.

I smoked a couple of packs a day for over 40 years. I'm so happy to be off the cigarettes that I'm not worried about my nicotine intake at this point!

I tried 18mg; got nausea, stomach pains, and jitters.

I tried 12mg, got nausea and stomach pains.

I tried 6mg, and vaped my face off for 2 wks and never had a lick of nausea and nary a stomach pain. When I finally ditched the cigarettes, I realized I need more nic to stave off the cravings; so, I start the day with 9-10mg; within an hour, fall back to 8mg; after dinner I go to 6mg so I don't get the pounding heart/jitters when I go to bed.

I realize I'm getting far less nicotine than was provided even by my ultra-light cigarettes, but I can vape indoors, all day, all the time, so I'm able to do it pretty much constantly, unlike the cigarettes I had to run outdoors every 30-40 mins to smoke. I know it's far less nicotine because I have to eat some kind of beans, and applesauce, every day, and drink a whole lot of water, or suffer constipation. The constancy of vaping vs. the intermittency of smoking is why the higher levels made me ill. But I don't mind beans or applesauce; I am completely phobic about nausea.

I started with 12mg but now I mainly use 6 or 8 mg. I chain vape at the lower levels without any issues. I'm pg sensitive so I only use pg free e-liquids. I also keep a 12 mg liquid around in case I start having stronger cravings or if I'm feeling more anxious than usual.

Throat hit is more associated with the amount of pg. I don't know what current ratios you're vaping but you may consider trying a liquid with higher vg or a 50/50 at 18 mg during cravings. Everyone is different so it takes a bit of trial and error until you find what works for you.

Good luck and happy vaping.
