And just to interject another note as to why.......

Different coils (particularly the Vivi Nova) seem to act differently than the same ohm atty or carto. IDK why. But... you end up turning the voltage DOWN a bit for them. So a 2.8 ohm VN coil would be at a lower voltage than a 2.8 ohm atty. Nice to be able to adjust. Like mentioned above, there's about 100 other variables too... like your personal preference.

Lol. Gotta love Pops. Learned all about SR and LR from this guy. Got my ohms law calculator right here on my phone too!! I agree. I run a 1.7ish ohm coil on my Phoenix at around 4v. On the vivi nova I'll cut that back to about 3.7-3.8v.

You start off with a $/£30 Lavatube first. Don't bother with anything else such as a twist as it will leave you longing for more and the vivi nova will not fit properly, so you'll want a vivi nova mini.

Don't go for anything more than this unless you are sure you want to after trialling it. When you get a lavatube, it should be enough.

Buy a $22 1000mah ego twist. Or go all the way up to provari and the 3.2 got vapes ohm heads. Why be in the middle with lavatube?

I second that entirely. I love my twists. I'm sure I'll get something else at some point (and have a few contenders in mind) but realistically, diminishing returns kicks in pretty low above it. And I think it works great with the 1.8ohm vivi nova head.

Yeap, I was gonna say the same nnote. I run my vivi novas on my 3.7v mechanical mod Saber Touch, runs great, great plumes of vape and I use the 2.4 ohm heads. All a vivi nova , (as well as all juice delivery devices need a battery.Be it a tube MOD, box mod etc. Heck I guess if you had enough potato's could run it. :)

BTW, KGO/ SLB just brought out a new V V check it out at hoosiers KGO V.V. 650mAh

There are lots of reasons to go with a lava tube. They work for one. They don't break the bank. You get an all day and night VV Vape that is fairly well regulated. Unlike the twist you get to check your battery charge, and OHMS, You don't just toss it when the batteries die. Instead of jumping at from 3.2 to 3.4 to 3.6 You go 3 to 3.1 to 3.2 etc. That is a big advantage. many times the perfect hit will be 3.3 or 3.5.

Here is a good example of why people buy them. $55.95 for a full Young June kit. Black or silver. Two batteries, charger and even two atties good for at least testing flavors on. 3amp, battery and voltage check, pulse modulation.

Variable Voltage 1.5 Mod Kit - Smoke Anywhere For Penny's, LLC Store

This is a step up from the twist by far. Is it a provari? Nope, but it's not $200 either.
