(mods please forgive my erroneous transgression if this is in the wrong place. )

So, I just got a MVP 2 a few days ago and love it! Works like a champ - my new daily workhorse. Draws a little tight with EVODs but not a deal breaker. Absolutely love it with my Protank 2 Mini.

However - I went to put my Smoktech FBC v2 on and .... NON!!! It will not make connection! What the crap?!

After taking a better look, it seems that the bottom of the coil assembly is a tad bit higher inside the connection ring than the rest of my tanks (something I subconsciously had noted before as I have to screw it onto my eGos a bit harder than the rest) and will not make connection with the center pin of the MVP.

Is this something anyone else has had an issue with or am I losing it? Perhaps a non-spec tank? How do I fix this?

I love my FBC v2 (it's glass, covered in stainless, removeable drip tip, screw on cap over the tip) and really want to use it as part of my workhorse kit. Please somebody help!

you can pull the pin down just a tad on the FBC so it will make contact on the mvp, but will work its way back up again eventually. Alternatively, you can take a small flat tipped screwdriver or paperclip and work the pin of the mvp up to make contact. the pin is quite long so going easy and you will not pull it out

Is this something typical of this tank or did I just get a weird coil? I don't relish the thought of having to do that every time I go to use it. (Which is a lot.)

It's a common problem with the MVP. I just got some 510->EGO adapters which take care of the problem.

The center-pin on the MVP is a little low to start with, and it will move with enough force, so heads will push it down; at which point it needs to be pulled back up (the adapters I use have a somewhat protruding center pin, so they seem to work just fine).

As a tip, don't crank your heads on with full force; get them gently tight and this will probably be less of an issue.
