I'm waiting on an order too (#977). Fortunately, it's not a crisis since I was just ordering extra parts. I have a question though: Could someone please tell me what Pioneer day is and why the post office would be closed? I'm a Colorado native and I've never heard of Pioneer day. Is it a Mormon holiday or something?
I really hope it's a Mormon holiday because if it's something lame like Cheyenne Frontier days and the post office closed for a glorified state fair, that's pretty messed up.
ETA: Nevermind, I looked it up. Apparently it has to do with when the Mormon pioneers first settled the area and it's a big deal in Utah and everything is closed. According to the SLC Tribune and the USPS website, the post office is not closed though, so I'm not sure what's up with that. Also, it's not a legal holiday in Idaho, so it wouldn't have any effect upon their shipping facility in Boise. It was only a legal holiday from 1912-1942.
