Got burned by e-liquid.cn unfortunately. Read the warnings on this forum and said 'It won't happen to me'. It did. They told me to choose unflavored and make a note of what flavor I want from their master list. The flavor I wanted did not appear in the drop down. Well sure enough they sent the unflavored and completely missed the note. I even followed up with an email and was told that my message would be given to the right people. I'm getting a hard time getting them to do anything about it without having to pay shipping all over again, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering from them.
So suggestions on cost effective ways to use this stuff would be greatly appreciated. My price per ml even with the high shipping cost is about 10 cents/ml. I'd like to keep it under 20 cents/ml with any DIY things I need to do to make this usable.
Thanks, don't let me down experts! :D

They obviously messed up your order and expect you to pay for it. Before I spent any money trying to fix the unflavored juice I would contact your credit card company and file a charge back against the company. You will either get the money credited back to your card, or the company will accept the return with them paying the shipping.

I'm considering that kboyts, I can't access their return policy at the moment. The site appears to be down again. Before I do that I want to make sure they don't have some little line hidden that says 'buyer responsible for return shipping costs'. I'm assuming worst case, that I'm stuck with it. I emailed them for a copy of their return policy.

If you have to fix the problem yourself, all you need to add is flavoring. It depends what flavor you want and where that flavor can be purchased, whether or not you'll be able to keep your total cost under 20 cents/mil.

If you add 9% flavoring, that's 50 mils. 10 cents a mil for flavoring x 500 mils = $50. So you need to find 50 mils of flavor for $50 including shipping. Capella Flavor Drops have been recommended (though I haven't done any DIY yet). @ 5.95 for 13 mils, you'd need four bottles. (that would actually give you 9.4% flavoring, 552 mils total, with 52 mils being flavor) That's $23.80, not including shipping.

Of course if capella's doesn't have your flavor... or if you want more than 9.4% flavoring.

You could probably add as much as 15.4% flavoring (7 - 13 mil bottles, for a total of 591 mils, 91 mils of flavor) and still come in under $50, including shipping.

Each flavoring has its own recommended percentage - see the Guide in the DIY section of ECF. And some need sweetener (sucralose aka Splendex, usually use diluted to 10% in PG). Try flavoring percent first on a small catch (1ml batch and you could use plain PG if you don't want to waste the 11mg testing).

Loranns flavorings are a it harder to get good results with, so for inexpensive flavoring try the Flavor Apprentice ones. DIYFlavorShack has a lot of them, or if you want to choose from the full selection buy them from the Perfumer's Apprentice site (they do offer cheap 1ast class shipping).

With so much unflavored liquid, you have the opportunity to create numerous flavors, rather than having only one. Albeit at an added expense. And if you really want it all one flavor, you have that option too, assuming you can recreate the flavor you intended it to be.

Keep in contact with the supplier, maybe they will send you the flavoring and you can add it. Even if you had to pay the shipping, at least you could get the exact flavor you ordered and shipping would be cheaper than the cost of the flavor and shipping. They owe you the flavor at least. Stay on them until they give it to you, even if you purchase other flavoring to use in the meantime.

check around you locally for bakery supply stores they usually carry loranns ( for candy & baking ) & it is way easier than all the ordering & shipping etc. the small dram(3.7ml) bottles are like $1.40 so worth a try . especially if it is a simple flavor you are trying to make. I use a lot of their flavors ....

Here's how the story ends. I finally get mad enough to open a claim with paypal to get a refund. A couple days go by and eventually I start to feel it isn't worth the trouble and I close my complaint with eBay. A day later I get a very nice email from Jocelyn at e-liquid.cn thanking me for not following thru with the eBay claim. She added that if I just email her anytime with an order she'll make sure it's filled and shipped quickly. The part I still don't get is how they sent the wrong thing when the mistake was known before the item shipped. Whatever. Whoever suggested perfumers apprentice on here, thank you!!! I ordered 4 flavors and loved them with my unflavored 11mg juice and free VG from another post in this forum. I have 9 more flavors on the way. I tried loranns and Capella with minimal success.
Thanks again everyone for your suggestions and help!
