Hi, am in glasgow and recently switched to vaping. I thought i did proper research, and invested in greensmoke kits(two smokers). I originally wanted something as close to smoking as i could get, but now i'm used to vaping thats not so much of a concern. I bought juices from paradise vape to refill the gs cartomisers, and have done ok with that, but they are too tricky to tell when ur going to get the burnt taste which i believe makes them permanently funky and unusable. I thought then i could go for a clearomizer, but tracking one down that fits a greensmoke is proving tricky. I had a thought that gs offer a 30 day money back guarantee, so am contemplating sending them back but what should i go for to replace them? Am looking for something reasonably decent looking for a reasonable price, not into modding etc just yet. Any advice gratefully received, i cant afford to hang about too much with the 30 day thing, i'd like to have an idea of what to go for if they ok it. TIA

A Joye Ego would be the logical next step if you're not interested in mods at this point. I went for a whole year with just Egos and Ego-T and DCT tanks without finding much of a reason to move up to the mod style stuff. Everyone's tastes and needs will vary but if a mini like greensmoke was doing it for you I think an Ego would be great for you.

Plus, I don't think there are any compatible parts for the Greensmoke from the good UK e-cig vendors.
You would do so much better to go for an e-cig with a 510 fitting as you will then be able to buy cartomisers/clearomisers at a good price from all the good UK vendors - here is a list of most of the best of them -

Don't make the mistake of going for another ciggie lookalike - the batteries just aren't up to it, instead go for something like this (use discount code ECF10 for 10% off)

I too have the Riva , its a quality bit of stuff, tremendous battery life as well.
Sorry i made u blush chrissie, well not really lol thanks for the advice, and pointers from DM too, i went for the riva, came today and an hour in am doing a pretty good dragon impression lol. What a difference in taste, the paradise vape golden virgin tasted good on the greensmoke, and i wasnt sure how much was cooked filling. So i'm not getting just as much taste as i was, am wondering if i have to do anything to the clearomiser to break it in, or might the difference be the removal of the burnt taste lol. In terms of kit tho, am impressed, so thanks once again.
Well it may be just me, but I reckon the longer I use it, the better it tastes, so maybe it takes a while to either get used to the taste, or it may be some manufacturing goo left on the new wick/coil.

I think it was a bit harsh the first few puffs, but it seems to have mellowed out now and I can definitely taste the juice more. Also worth noting...I'm still using the 1st batterys 1st charge, so it's lasting a long time!

Bryan, give one of the cartomisers a go that came with the kit. I don't know why, but i tend to get more flavour using cartomisers than the clearomisers. I also prefer the draw with them.
Thanks Chrissie, I'll give it a bash, i've come to the conclusion that its unfair to compare the refilled gs carts which were probably burnt and remnants of their stuff in, and a new clearomiser, the taste is still good. I'd filled a cart with the strawberry and banana, had a tad of trouble mastering that so will work up to giving it the treatment lol
I agree here, the general rule here is that the more it looks like a cigarette the less the performance, although they are a good gateway from real cigs to vaping, but many people grow out of the very quickly and become dissatisfied, but they do serve a purpose. The next stage for most people is an ego type kit, then from this people tend to move to vv mod I their choice. As with most things vaping has a bit of a learning curve. But there are many people on here that will help you when you need it.
