As we know brass tubes are fingerprint magnets, and stop being shiny pretty fast. My new Poldiac Uma has gone that way, so I'm thinking of getting something to polish it back up like new, and maybe lacquer it so it stays nice and shiny. Anyone found a good brass polish? I have tried Brasso in the past, but it takes a lot of work over a long time for that stuff to work, so I'm looking for something better.

For wiping down, the cape cod cloths work great. For heavier oxidation, smearing a liberal coating of Brasso over all surfaces, allowing it to sit for 5-10 min, then rinsing clean works well for me. For removing scratches or truly polishing the mod, automotive aluminum wheel polish (mothers, meguiars, etc) has been recommended by others.

Buff & Wipe weekly with a Jeweler's Cloth (type made for Gold works better than the Silver type).
If beyond that, go with Never-Dull or an Auto Wheel Polish as mentioned (careful not to get the variety that contains a mild acid) the first time and finish with the Cloth. Then a simple & quick weekly Buff Routine will keep it nice.

P.s. I'd advise against Lacquering it.
