Hi guys :)

I'm just wondering if there is anything that is usually done when you receive an E-juice that just tastes "Off" to you?

I've been purchasing off a few websites and with lots of flavors that I think I will like.

So far I have bought two bottle of Nobacco and both have this Medicine like aftertaste to it that I really do not enjoy.

Strange to because the choices are far apart in taste "Chocolate" and "Expresso" I honestly do not know if this is PG VG or both at a percentage.

Does anyone have any suggestions on changing the flavor to diminish the medicine flavor? Or should I just call this a loss and move on?

Thanks for any and all input guys, and sorry if this has been asked many O times on ECF

you may want to try letting them steep for acouple weeks, flavors can mature or become less perfurmy, or stay the same/worse

ya just try different venders, its hit or miss.... until you find a vender you like, welcome to the club...

i like tastyvapors for when im using something that burns through juice fast its decent and cheap if u only order the flavors of the week.....so far the best stuff ive had is kickbassvapors though, even individual good venders are hit or miss....

u can always trade or sell it in the classifieds....

My 1st question here would be have you let it steep?

Steeping for anywhere from a week to several months can drastically improve a flavor.

If it shows up and you don't like it right away, put it away and check it out again in 2 weeks, if it's better but not great, put it away again for 2 more weeks.
If it's not better after that 1st 2 weeks of steeping, put it away for 6 weeks, then try it again.

For a bit quicker steeping, like on flavors that are close but not quite there, or that have a chemical/perfume taste, steep overnight with the lid off, it seems to help those some.

If you still don't like it after steeping then sell it or trade it here in the classifieds, or give it away in the PIF section.

Also, if you kind of like the flavor but it seems to be missing something, mix it with other flavors, add sweetener, whatever you think it needs.

I've never tried Nobacco juice but it sounds like a tobacco flavor. A lot of people (me included) think tobacco mixed with a little fruit flavor is good. Menthol can also give the juice a little kick and lighten things up. Put a little of the Nobacco in a small bottle and try adding a drop or two of LorAnn's flavorings. Apple is great with tobacco. You can get the flavorings at Wal Mart (limited selection there) or any kitchen or bakery store (about $1.75 a dram). Do small amounts to test and keep it simple at first.

I have no idea where I'm at
I mix my own and steeping is the key, more so with the tobacco. Some tobacco is really fruity at first, I have to let mine steep at least a week before they calm down enough to even try to vape, but some need several weeks. Just let them sit for week or two as others stated above. If that doesn't work and you don't want to try and let them go for a month or so, try mixing a small amount with another flavor or even an unflavored nic base. They may just have too much flavoring and need to be diluted a bit. Just do a little, because if they are truly un vapable, you don't want to waist too much of another liquid trying to make it vapable.

We have all had liquid we just ended up getting rid of, just part of the learning curve.

If you've tried steeping them, and still dislike, or even hate them, someone else will love it. +1 on the classifieds, or even better, pass them on to a friend, they may do the same for you with ones they don't like. Some people here can't afford a lot of juices, and appreciate the gesture more than you realize, and have a chance to try new flavors otherwise not available to them.

I don't think steeping does a darn thing for single flavor liquids. And I find the only bad liquids steeping can make OK are ones with a perfumey or flowery smell from overflavoring or some cream flavors.

You cans sell them in Classifieds

You can give them away in Pay it Forward

You can save them in case you ever run short on juice

You can rescue them by mixing them with better liquids - if you have a good sweet vanilla and a good tobacco you can rescue almost anything
