I just got my lava tube today. Right now I am using a 510 atty from my titan tank kit. I ordered a 510 DC T-V2 tank and dual coil cartomizer which hasnt arrived yet. As far as I know, the voltage will max out at 3.7v with this. My question is what are you guys using? I want to be able to hold 3.5ml or more, but i want to be able to vape at a higher voltage which cant be done with the DC T-V2 since its 1.5ohm. Help please:unsure:

I liked the build quality of the MAP tanks. I'd still be using one if polycarbonate wasn't incompatible with my preferred juice. If you use most any tobacco flavor, or menthol or something simple like that, you'd like it. If you use dessert flavors, you probably won't.

If I can manage to snag one, I'm looking at the iAtty 2. It's rebuildable, it's all stainless steel (so no issues with juice incompatibility), and it can be used with standard cartomizers, in case I don't feel like building my own coils. It's kind of the Swiss Army Knife of tanks. They haven't been released yet, and they're more expensive than any other tank I've heard of, at $135.

The best carto for use in a tank that I've found is the 801 Fusion, also known as the Boge 302d. It has 801 threads, so you'd need a 510 to 801 adapter, but your 510/901 drip tips will work just fine. You can buy them pre-punched, punch the holes yourself, or slot them with a rotary tool and a cutting wheel. The flanged battery connector on these cartos serves to keep the tank from sliding down too low, which is a bonus.

I'd suggest a tank with a filling port, such as the M1A1 from notcigs.com or you can modify any other polycarbonate tank to add a fill port (just search youtube for Tank Boot Camp to see how this is done). I suggest the fill port because prying off the top cap to refill can be a chore and sliding the tank up the carto to refill can be messy when the o-rings slip over the punched holes and breaks the seal.

I kept my set up simple and just went with a 5ML DC Tank from VaporJunction. I've been vaping at 3.9V with this on the LavaTube. You can go up to around 4.1V, but any time you get up to 2AMPS, the LavaTube is going to bump the voltage back down to 3.7 or 3.8. It's designed to prevent you from overloading it and damaging the mod. If you want to vape at 4.2V or higher, then you might want to try the 3.0Ohm cartos with the tanks.
