What type of atty should I use for my GLV 2?

I am currently using the 1.5ohm LR atty's from Happy Vapor. In light of the Florida accident, I want to make sure I am using a safe atty that has reliability and good vapor production. Any suggestions?

If your GLV is a 3.7v, LR atties/cartos will give you the best performance.

If you have a 5v GLV, SR aties/cartos are best. LRs will work but they aren't necessary, probably won't last as long, and SRs will give you plenty of vapor.

If you have a manufactured mod (i.e.: not homemade) like a GLV, using high quality protected batteries is the key to safety. Jay recommends and sells AW ICR123s so if safety and reliability is a concern, those are the ones you should use.

I haven't tested it but others have and as I understand it you can pretty much use anything on the GLV2 as it all runs the same. The resisted 5volt version self regulates any ohm carto you throw at it.

I only order from Avid / Cisco... I'm partial to the bridgeless LR901 but dig his LR306 too. I've owned dozens and only had one dud... he replaced it (even though policy says no)

I have a 2 ohm HH.357 on my 3.7v and it rocks!

1.5 and 2.0 ohm HH357 for 3.7 volts and anything between 1.5 and 3.0ohm HH357 for 5 volts. I prefer the "FinnishSpecial".

I use 2.5 - 3.0 cartos on my 5v units. I feel its safer,but as said above the most important thing is to use the recommended batts. DO NOT EVER USE UNPROTECTED BATTS! Thats where the danger enters the equation.

My 510 2 ohm I have is long barrel also .... I use it on the GLV3 Mini, and it extends above the sidecar nicely.
With the normal length atties I felt like the sidecar was stuck on my cheek. LOL
