What up with Wizard Labs?

O.k. probably a relatively minor rant, but I ordered from Wizard Labs last week, and I don't know if it's because their server was down ALL WEEKEND (and then some) for their website upgrade, but it doesn't look like my order has moved.....

Anyone else waiting on an order from WL?

It took over a week for the order I made to be processed from them.........maybe normal for them?

It's hit or miss with WL when it comes to how long it takes to get an order. The first few times I ordered it took longer to get the order from them than it did to get an order (same time) from fasttech. LOL Then for a few orders it only took a few days. This last order that just came today took 8 days again. ? It will eventually get there.

Sounds like they were upgrading their servers or the software running on them. Taking them down would have prevented them from moving any orders. A bad computer system could have a large negative effect on order fulfillment.

I work in the computer field, and the symptoms described would point to an inadequate system for the orders they were trying to process. Hopefully they did update and it helps their processing, I do like their products and selection.

Gah, I hear you. I placed orders at wizard labs and TFA on the same day, one right after the other. I received my TFA order before the wizard order even shipped. Pretty slow stuff. I do know that their site was giving a maintenance message all yesterday. Hoping my order gets here by Thursday!

I've placed several orders with them,probably 25 or so,and they have always shipped within 2 days of placing the order,usually same day,except one time.I placed 1 order that had nic in it,and that took a week to ship.If you bought nic,it always takes longer to ship,because they mix it up when it's ordered.

I've ordered a lot of stuff from FT, just got one in today.

Fasttech ships very quickly (mail delivery is what can be slow).

there are a few rules when ordering from Fasttech if you don't want to wait forever for something: only order items that are "in stock, ships same day, or ships next day" avoid anything with a longer waiting period like the plague. Always pay the few dollars for upgraded shipping. It's often far less than a few dollars. It is usually less than a dollar and sometimes even a free upgrade. I live in Illinois and orders almost always get to me in 8 to 10 days. While that's longer than 'most' CONUS shipping it isn't bad for overseas and through customs. Also do not order batteries or e-liquids (if you do, make them a separate order--they will ALWAYS take a long time).

Other than that, I like FT a lot.

Yep,i've ordered from fasttech several times as well.My first order took almost a month,but the item i ordered was a ships in 7 business days deal,so i knew it would take a while.Like TamiP said,all my others have been in stock or ships next day,and have been 10 days or less,i also get the upgraded shipping,well worth the very small extra charge.Good example,my last order was $20 and it was like .73 cents to get upgraded shipping.

I've come to find that depending on the day of the week you order and the time of day has a lot to do with order times with WL... I been reasonably happy with there service thus far and have almost 20 orders since the beginning of the year. If you have a lot of flavors in your order they have to mix them before they ship. TFA is faster because they have the flavors already on hand i would suspect.

I never tried there flavoring and wouldn't buy it from there. That's just a personal choice and not a knock on what they sell as far as flavoring.

There hardware is very good and I buy hardware from them all the time. Takes 2 - 3 weeks for delivery. Do yourself a favor when ordering and select US postal service as a delivery option. It cost a little more but it's faster then the free shipping and provides tracking.

One item I ordered said "ships in 7 days". It did not ship until 8+ weeks later.

If you are waiting for WL, it might help to give them a call - Contact Us They have always been helpful when I called them in the past.

Yeah, at 5 days I'd be getting in touch with them and asking if there is a problem. A couple, 2 or 3 days is one thing, 5 is way too long under normal circumstances.

I placed my first order with wizard labs on wednesday and received a email yesterday that they had shipped my order. I would give them a call if you havent heard anything by now. 5 days is a bit much in today's world.
