7.4.... Holy moly burn juice much

No. I find that the juice I vape tastes the best at that voltage. Plus I only run 7.4 during the morning to mid afternoon hrs. I also run 6v and other ranges with my provari. This juice is just awesome running that hot.

I'm using a semi-regulated 3.7 V APV with 2.0 ohm LR single coil cartos most of the time. That's about 6.85 watts. I also use 1.7 ohm LR single coil cartos for 8.0 watts but find that too warm for my taste most of the time. I use a very high percentage VG juice and gets massive amounts of vapor with either carto.

I just got a eGo-VV and usually have it set for somewhere inbetween 3.3-4.5V. I don't know if it's the ejuice I'm using or something else but it seems like it burns my throat if I go any higher. Anyone have any suggestions?

the term "voltage" can be little bit misleading. if im using a LR cartomizer, they run (and taste) the best at about 3.7-4.2 volts (depepending on what juice im using). typically fruity flavors taste best just over 4v with a LR cartomizer.

now...if i use a vivi nova or a clearomizer, the same 3.7-4.2 volts can be used on a 2.4ohm clearo. if i had a cartomizer that was 2.4ohm, i would use at least 4.5volts.

5 volts with a 3ohm carto gives VERY close to the same vape as 3.7volts with a 2.0ohm caromizer.

if its burning your throat, you either have a wicking issue (are you using a clearomizer, carto or a tank?) or the voltage is too high. dial it down until it tastes right, then leave it be.

i hope i didnt confuse you more.

Another thing to look at is the wattage you're vaping at.

I just changed out my batteries to 6v. With a 2.5 ohm carto I'm running 14.4 watts.

6x6/2.5=14.4

Volt x volt divided by ohm gives you your watts.
