What was your BEST excuse for purchasing another REO ???

OK, Ok I know we don't need an excuse but we all like to justify them somehow.

For those that have two only I'll buy the "backup" story but after that Hmmmm.

I like:

Odd number
Even number
Complete the matched set (color/wood)

What else you got ???

O.K. I have sort of passed the "I need a back-up" phase. Even when I stretch that and say I needed a back-up for each model!
So, I will have to admit to looking for certain REO's that are:

Unique
Different woods
No longer produced
First run
Sold by Reonaut needing money
In the classifieds; rescue


Come on, it's a I gotta have it REO!

My 2nd grand purchase. I had a really good excuse. I put the wrong battery into my grand and my atty shorted it, the spring collapsed with the battery being too long, the button got fried. I kinda fiddled and had it working but I did not want to send it back to Rob unless I had another REO in hand. So I bought my backup and sent the 1st off to be repaired. My 3rd purchase one day will be the blk/blk mini as I need a nice stealth mod to take out to places.

for the woodvil mini...i wanted it

for the 18490 cause i had to have it after trying the mini woodvil and it was a cool green burl and plus gil had bought an extra for someone who backed out so that set up perfect.

my new green mini..... cause i wanted to try a metal mini... it was green..... it was a discontinued green..... it was my favorite color of green as a kid.

Have 2 excuses for a VV when available. 1. The obvious reason. 2. I've always wanted a padauk, ect woodvil w/ a quilted, burl, or curly maple door.
