guess i'll start:

i tried a cig-a-like years ago, but didn't like it so i guess that doesn't count...

my real first was 2 ego twists and a stardust clearo. i bought a few different 10ml bottles of juice along with it, mostly variations of coffee flavors.

now, my main setup is poldiac and short did or nimbus (they get about equal time). i have a few others that i've picked up along the way, but nothing else gets used much anymore, and i don't have any plans to pick up any more hardware in the near future.

how far have you come???

DSE-901. After the 901 era, I moved to just about every ego variation that has came out. Recently I have been using a Diablo hybrid. My newest set up, which I am very happy with, is a 14500 bolt with an Igo-l on top that is pushing around .08 ohms. I have absolutely fallen in love with dripping all over again. The flavor is insane.

I started with V2 cig alikes, with auto batteries. I didn't stick with them long. From there I built a couple simple 14500 box mods. Eventually began buying mods. At last count, I think I'm up to around 18. Some are vv. Some are vw. Some are mechanicals. I use strictly genisis type RBAs, and make all my own juice.

Started w/ 2 Ego C-Twists w/ the carto tanks, then moved up to the Vapage VMOD XL, then shortly after the eVic came along. Still using the Vapage Crystal XL tanks w/ both my Egos and eVic. Just recently bought a Bagga w/ the Igo-L rebuildable and just bought the Nimbus today and will be shipping shortly.

I started with a Mistic from Wal Mart... I quickly evolved to V2 Cigs, and then got an eGo-C. I used that for quite a while (and I remember how silly I thought a Silver Bullet looked at the time). Then I bought a Galileo, and never looked back! I have better mods now, but I still use my first mod to this day. :)

Started with a Joye 510 cig-a-like kit. Messed around for awhile trying to get my atomizers working well with blue foam and then moved to cartos. Bought a Chuck and then for the next 3 years made my own flashlight, snus can and VV box mods. Now using different Mechs and an SVD with either a Protank, a carto tank or a Genisis style tank.

wow, is .08 ohms a typo? if not, that's pretty ridiculous... lowest i've done is .3 ohm double-coil. it was an accident, i was shooting for .5, but it was wrapped so well that i had to try it :)

not to build up the anticipation, but you'll love the nimbus. it's beautifully made, pretty much looks good on anything. aside from that, the thing's a damn fog machine. i haven't seen the tv for a week because my living room is constantly one giant cloud...

I started with a 510 mini ecig and purchased an EGo when they hit the market. Ordered my first mod in 2010 and have not looked back. Over the 4+ years of vaping I have purchased approx 25 or 30 devices. Have had the gamut of juice delivery setups as well. Started with the cartridges then onto dripping with atties and onto cartomizers. I have all the standard Evods, Protanks, RBAs but always go back to my single coil Boges and or dualcoil tank cartos. If I have to, I can make a coil and use my RBAs but they are not my choice way to get my nicotine. My go to devices are my provaris. I have several others but like the carto/tank setups, grabbing one of my provaris will awlays be my first choice. Oh yeah-I still have my first Joye 510 and Ego batteries and they still work!
Now the subject of 4+ years of trying to find and learning how to make eliquid would make for one long post.

thanks for all the replies so far, and please keep them coming! it's pretty amazing to see how far we've all come since kicking the analogs. i think it's really interesting that, for the most part, we all started with something along the lines of a cig-a-like or some sort of ego, yet we've all found a unique setup that works for us. well, at least until the next big thing comes up :D :toast:
