my first was a joye 510 from 2009, and it was an utter POS.

after buying around $100 in parts and cart mods, and another $75 in juice, i parted it all out because it was a miserable experience so I quit vaping all together and smoking all together cold turkey.

im beginning to think I hated it because I had bought 36mg eliquid and it was just too damn harsh on the throat

now its 2013, I just purchased a volt kit, with 6mg to curb some cravings and take the edge off, and use 0mg when i just have that oral fixation. Couldnt be happier with how far vaping has gone

Djarum cloves (pack every week) to Marlboro Lights (1+ pack a day) to Vapor4Life (808 starter kit with 2 batts, 1 USB passthrough, bunch of prefilled carts) to Marlboro Lights (1+ pack a day) to Vamo v2 and iTaste SVD

At the time I picked up the V4L ecig kit (2010) it was a bit of a premium brand of ecigs (at least in the 808 world). I really liked their stuff and they did the job for 2-3 months but got laid off and IMMEDIATELY bought a pack and chain smoked half of them right away.

2 months ago started doing more research here (wow things changed quickly from 2010 to now) and purchased a Vamo, Protank, and some juice. Just got an Innokin SVD and a VVV cartotank to complement the Vamo and as a backup. Don't want one to fail and make me go back to analogs. The rest is history. No analogs since my Vamo.

Started with one of the many 808 clones. Sadly ordered from western USA, and couldn't wait for it to get here so found a local place that had some 510's with PCC. That lasted all of a month before I picked up an eGo-T Kit (650mah with those aweful punch hole tanks). (This was in early 2011).

Moved from the eGo 650 to a Redds kit (mini powerhouse for a cig-a-like/808, that I still recommend to people looking to convert).

Then picked up a couple 1000mah eGo Twist when they first hit the market and didn't look back (Lasted me over a year)

Have new toys on the way (as always)

Blu》ego 650 w/carts》egoT》ego w/ vivi nova and then I won an ecab. I switch off and on between the ecab and the ego w/ vivi nova....I wish I would have started with the ecab instead of the blue but i almost think having something as close in size (blu) to analogs was necessary.

my first ecig was an optima i ordered from groupon. it was only $20 for a starter kit so i said why not...bad mistake! i started reading more about ecigs and how you can fill your own etc. with the optima you cant fill your own and you have to buy the premade carts for $40!!!( comes with 10) in one week i went threw all of my carts. $40 is the same price i pay for a carton of ciggies every week!. and honestly the flavors taste like crap. also the vapor production is crap. barely any smoke and no TH after the first few puffs of it being fully charged.

i started reading on this forum and decided to buy a halo g6 so i can refill my own and get better vapor production. i am still waiting on it (should come monday) but im sure it will be alot better and cheaper then this optimacig in the long run.

im already looking into the halo triton also. so far tho i have gone from a pack and a half a day smoker to only about 6 cigs a day!

I started w/the V2. It was crappy but it worked to get me off of the Camels and into vaping. While vaping my V2 I started watching vape related youtube videos, got 'vapers envy' and upgraded to an Ego. Then an Ego Twist. Then a KGO VV. Then a Lavatube V2. Then a Vamo V2. Then another Vamo V2. That's where I am now. Tomorrow is both my 1 yr vapeaversary AND there's a Phx Vapers Social meet. I know there will be vendors there and I know I'll end up treating myself to a new mod to celebrate. I'll probably update this tomorrow with another 'Then a'... Hehe.

Ok, I went to the vape meet and while I didn't get a new mod I did pick up 2 DBox Puritanks.

A cigalike with a box batt charger using a single atomizer, back in 2009. Very difficult back then. Welcome to the VapeWorld 2013, the "Modern Era." Everything is better, batts, cartos and clearos, and most importantly, juice strong enough to get you off smoking. This was way before there was any branding, and I'm not sure my gear even had a name...a China, no-name ecig. It was very cool, just didn't get me there all the way.

Tried a couple disposables, forgot the name. Back to analogs and NOW my awesome dad finally took my advice to quit and he got us both eGo upgrade batt and i dont know the tank brand but I LOVE IT and I got the black one so mine is cooler than my dads chrome one. Now to save for the KANGER PROTANK!!! and a bigger batt because i killed mine in like half a day, former chain smoker of analogs.. now i get an endless cig that i dont have to ash, so pro. I think ill quit for real this time!
