My first much was a nemisis clone. It was cheap. I decided I don't like the modular tubes. Like to have a single tube. I think authentic mods are way over priced but my second mech is an interesting authentic made right down the street. A CV-1 Virtus. Single tube 18650, love it. Wanted a dedicated 18500 so bought an akuma clone. To be honest the wooden box sold me. Took some tweaking to get the switch perfect but it's my beater mod I use the most now.

First one was a K101, it was okay, but eventually wore out. Moved on to a Smoktech Magneto. Love it and still works perfectly. Now I am using a 4nine I love the size and that thing hits like a freight train.

I wish my 4nine (second mech, after K-100) worked like everyone I know who has one... Nothing but issues. Which led me to purchase my third mod, the KSS... Which hits way better and has proven way more reliable so far than MY 4nine... I love the 4nine based on size though. Just wish mine worked reliably!

I haven't had any performance issues with mine yet (knock on wood) checked out the KSS on the inter webs, and that is a sweet looking mod! It looks like it has a magnetic switch and a direct connection which already has me sold, and it is copper too. My bank account is not gonna like this!

When I take out the switch/lock ring assembly and push the switch while I look at it, it feels like a spring. Perhaps it is a magnet? I don't know but I am not about to take it apart, I'm leaving it be unless I ever have any kind of issue. Though I met the designer of it the day I bought it and he was speaking of design factors and basically from someone who knows a little bit about mechanical things I was sold by all he had to say.

I purchased it last Thursday and so far a whole week of flawless performance.

I have bought another mod since, though it will likely be staying at home during the work day as it is far too shiny and pricey of an object for now!

K-100 will be my backup/secondary to the KSS until the next shiny new object comes into view and my newest toy from today ventures to work with me... If it ever does. LMAO

I just got my first one it a Kamry K100 (clone of Empire PV) got it because it was only $25 on ebay and came with 2 batterys (not sub ohm safe), a charger (really slow charging), 2 carto's w/ cover and a case.
All for same price i paid for my e go twist battery at a local shop.

though my next mech mod will be Maraxus Telescopic Mechanical Mod from angelcigs.com just because it looks cool!

I looked at the specs and it looked to be a magnetic switch. I love me some magnetic mech mods. I looked around and everywhere is sold out, so my money is safe. You are wise to keep it at home, those are going to be well sought after. Also it is awesome that you got it from the designer himself!

I actually was referring to the mod I bought this afternoon as the one that is staying at home... Local B&M got in some Stingrays and my buddy strongly suggested I buy one. It was just too shiny to pass up.

The KSS rides with me. I am considering picking up another one even. After meeting the designer/manufacturer, and seeing what kind of guy he is, I have a feeling he will not make a limited number of them but rather continuous supply. My KSS is simply #286, out of an undefined number. Stingray on other hand is 847/1000.

Oh damn! An original stingray... Definitely take good care of that. I will keep an eye out for the KSS wait till demand dips a little. That is a solid looking mod. The B&M by my place has a penny mod and topper with really close numbers. I can't spend the cash right now though. I was in the Midwest the last time the convention was in town. I gotta save up some cash for next year...

I need to stop spending for a while. I just need something reliable (the KSS) and like I said, buddy said jump on the stingray as did a non-comission employee of the B&M, both friend and that employee are stingray owners, whom I trust. So I made plunge. Like I said, it will stay home most of the time. Lounge status. Or sitting here while on forum status. :)
