My first and still only mech mod is a chi you clone. Today I upgraded to magnets for the switch and got the "stealth" cap. Just the new top cap alone is making it hit a lot better. Too poor to get any others.

My first mod was a Nemesis clone and a Patriot clone from the local b&m, it was ok. but tbh i would recommend beginners to go straight to regulated mods instead of the mechs, so much more safe and user friendly.

Check out FatDaddyVapes on ebay, he has a contacts upgrade kit which will lower your voltage drop. I use it in mine and can confirm it lowered my voltage drop by about .3

Hi everyone! I have a mirandus mod for my first mech. After vaping on evods and reading through ECF i decied to buy a mirandus mod clone. I bought it for its spec. Magnetic switch, silver plated contacts. I paired it with a plume veil clone as well. Please dont crucifiy me for buying clones... Im saving up for that SS vanilla once i come back to my motherland the Philippines. enjoy and vape on!

My first was the Touchwood 18650. Just gorgeous. Was on the wait list for several months but it was well worth it. Still use it every day.
I've never had a regulated mod but I have a Vaporshark rDNA on the way...

Since I'm also a newb...I went ahead and did some research and also checked out Todd's Reviews in the UK and picked up the Kato Box Mod as my first mechanical. It's authentic and was ordered direct from Prophet Vapor....really amazing device. I did try and test out a handful of mods prior to my purchase and my second choice was an 18500 from the Philippines called Madz...just kind of still felt like a vibrator in my hand...so that being said...I'm now box guy. If i could find a Kato Hammer...that just might be my second mechanical mod...I like the feeling of hitting a pipe.

Half awake and have to deal wih that a few times, it found a home in a cardboard box in my closet.
