Yes I was talking more about taste and evenness of vape flavor. I was not really posting on start-up times or battery limitations. The more you can evenly distribute wire heat over a mesh surface to reach vaporization, the smoother and truer to flavor the vape can be. IMO The time to get your coil/wick surface to temp will increase and is a limitation and trade-off. So if you want "instant-on" 11 wraps of 28g is not gonna cut-it. I am more in your range of coil wraps for better startup time. 11 wraps was a big PITA to do, but when it got up to temp, it was a very nice chain vape experience .
Another thought here is that experience also depends upon your
juice type too.. right?
tobacco flavors can do real well with more concentrated heat. The edgyness of a lower ohm 34g wire can actually enhance the flavor. If you using something a bit less complex and softer, it may just taste burnt on the same set-up....
