OK, so, as I mentioned previously, I really like my drip tips, and I am not in love with regular tips that come with Visions (nothing personal, just a preference, they work fine). Yet I love, love, loooooooove my Visions - can't live without them anymore. I mean, what clearo other than a VR would allow me to suck Boba's Bounty all the way down to the bottom with no dry hit? (Well, maybe a Mini Flux - but those are too small for BB)

801 DTs fit VRs, so that's fantastic. Love it. Use it.

I've been searching for the solution for Minis. Like folks said, the Mega eGo DT is too big for a VM. I got one anyway, to see how much bigger. Turns out, not by much - just the thickness of the tube, really. So I'm sitting here like an idiot, trimming the DT with a hobby knife. Tiny pieces of plastic flying everywhere. I suppose it would be faster to grind it down with my Dremel, but it's too cold to do it outside, and I don't feel like breathing plastic dust. This looks like an hours-long project. OMG, the things we do for our Visions...

Interested to see how you make out. Been thinking of doing the same.

Might try gently putting the tip side of a eGo drip tip in my driil. and use a file. Sort of like using a lathe.

exactly what i was going to suggest. i have shaved a few regular drip tips this way before. just do a little at a time cuz you cant put it back lol

OK, it works, sort of. You guys will do much better with a real grinder, I think.

I only cut it down to the rubber band, which does nothing for leak-prevention, of course. But I don't think this DT is deep enough to sit on top of the cup seal anyway. The way I have it now, it goes in, but it also goes out rather easily if I push on it sideways. Not too big of a deal if I don't carry it around, but...

I have to say that the warmth of the vapor and the taste increased rather dramatically for me, just as when I stuck a DT on the VR. Love it.

The way I'd do it ideally is use a power grinder of some sort. Take off the rubber ring. Grind it all the way up to the lip. Make sure the top end of the ground area is slightly narrower than the bottom end, so that whole area slightly fluted (prevents the whole thing from being spit out by the carto like a watermelon seed), then put the rubber ring back on (or find a slightly smaller one, not sure), and that should work quite well.

Of course, not so ideally, the whole thing can be done with a hobby knife and a hand grinder of some sort (I used a nail file :) ). But it's a pain in the ..... LOL

So, obviously this doesn't look attractive, but here's what I did. I find the mini and reg visions' draw too airy, and I'm not really crazy about DTs, I like whistle tips. Sooo, I took the rubber cup off the MP of the mini and stuck a Sapphire tip in it. Tightened the draw, gives me my favorite tip to chew on, and I didn't have to dremel a thing...
