What wire to rebuild Subtanks RBA?

I currently use 26 Kanthal and use the pancake as a wicking method, works great
Typically 26, but I've used everything from 30 gauge Ni200 through to a 32/26 Clapton.

26 GA. Typically you want as thick of a wire as you can fit into the deck while still getting in the resistance range you want.
A 26GA wire around a 2.5mm bit with 8 wraps will give you about 1Ω. That should fit in the STM deck.

I use Kanthal and make mine 3mm 5 wraps of 26g = .72
After seeing Shawn Hoefer 's post above I guess Im going to have to try to get a clapton under them tiny screws, lol.

Is the stock rba coil it comes with 26? I have 28 gauge, but if it is 26 that comes with it I would prefer that. I liked it.
I prefer 26 gauge.
Lower ohms than 28 but strong enough to gently pull out the wick dry burn and install a new wick without damaging the coil.
I've used either 26 or 28 for mine (Can't remember, lost the package for this spool. But I know that it is one of the two). Been doing twisted coils in it for a while. I enjoy it.
The only problem now is that I lost the barrel that goes around the deck, so my Kanger is now useless. Kind of a shame since I lost it while wrapping this coil, so I never got to try this one out. According to my Eleaf iStick, it's a .5 ohm coil.
