Hey!

I have a 510 right now, and I feel like it's a piece of garbage with the amount of time I spend vaping lol. The battery sucks, I think one is completely blown out, and there just must be a better ecig out there! I've had this for 2 months so far and I love vaping so much that I think I want a new kit at this point, but which e-cig is a good one to get? I'm thinking the Ego would be a good next step but is there anything cooler out there I should know of/wait for???
My budget is ~$100 or less

I think a riva or ksd ego would get you the most for your money. The main thing is more battery life right? If that's that case, I think any ego style kit would be fine.

Joyetech is coming out with a VV ego soon, the "ego-c twist" If that's something you would want to wait for, but i have a feeling a kit with those would probably go for well over $100.

Hey Aaaadri,

An eGo would be a good choice if you want to keep the size down and increase your battery life. An eGo is basically a little smaller than a marker.

If you want something a with a little more "kicking" power I would suggest a LavaTube.

I see your in Toronto, if your able to make it to our GTA Meetup it would be a great place to come see, feel and use a whole bunch of different devices to see what might be best for you.

Try to stay with Joyetech the rest are all clones, you get what you pay for!!!!

Hate to get into this again, but that is not necessarily true, I have a bunch of cloned batts that are still going strong after many months. ANYWAYS, I agree that the Lava Tube would be a great next step in your vaping journey.

Ur gonna carry a spare battery always as a precaution no matter how you slice it. Two Ego type batteries and a couple of Stardusts will do you better than fine. Two 650's will get you through an entire day EASILY. As for clone batteries.....I had two clones and one genuine Joye. The Joye crapped out. Riva 650's are $14.95 at canvape and their Stardusts are the cheapest anywhere at $4.95. An Ego charger to boot and you're all set.

When you see ego-t or -c, that is just the atomizer system they come with, its not that important. T = Tank atomizer C= Changeable tank atomizer

KSD, Riva, joyetech are just different brands. Joyetech/janty invented the ego, but lots of people make them now. Joyetech is overpriced, and they run at a lower voltage.

Get a Riva http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ne-had-problems-ego-riva-1100mah-canvape.html never heard a bad thing about them.

Should grab some extras though, maybe a pack or boge or kanger cartomizers, a LR stardust. Lots of cool stuff you can connect to your PV.

When you're all done and growed up after following the wonderful advice provided in the previous posts, get yourself a solid and dependable variable volt unit. A couple that come to mind that are currently out there are the Darwin and the Provari. There will be a variable Reo Grand out shortly along with whatever the future brings us.

The EGo's in the various iterations are great devices to grow with for a novice vaper. I still hang onto mine even though they are relegated to "backups of backups" status. I carry them with me wherever I go in a little ego case and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. :)

Wow, 2 months with a 510? I only lasted 2 weeks before I ordered a Joyetech eGo kit. All of the suggestions above are good esp Kramer's. There are good eGo's out there like the Riva. Joyetech's have a slightly better track record but can crap out like anything else. You'll have to decide. Having owned & tried both the ego-T & ego-C, I'll say avoid them & forget about a kit. Get a couple of eGo batteries and charger, a pack of the Stardusts in Low Resistance & some Kanger horizontal coils for trying out new flavours. JR Custom Turning has some good prices on Ego batts if you decide on the Joyetech - link

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I understand there will be a new LT mini with an outrageous amp limit arriving soon. Along with some other improved attys/cartos to strap on. The best thing you can do is get something that allows you to fine tune the output voltage. As little as .1 volts can make an enormous difference.

OH! nowhere does it say lavatube LOL (unless i'm blind) thank you so much for clearing that up!

Yeah people call it by so many different names. Almost every vendor is calling it by a different name, but if it looks that one, then its a lavatube
