Maybe I'm not as die hard as most everyone on here, but depending on the punishment levied for being caught vaping would depend on whether or not I would continue to vape.

I used to partake in other types of smoking, when I was younger and I was caught doing it by my college and expelled, since that day I no longer do things that are illegal because the risks are not worth the reward to me. I enjoy vaping and like that it is a lower risk solution to smoking but if they were to put legislation in place that would make the punishment for vaping similar to other illegal substances then I would just quit vaping and go back to analogs, its not worth going to jail over imo.

If they taxed nic liquid to the point where it was more expensive then smoking, I may consider continuing to vape, or going the DIY route, that would be fine as long as they didn't punish vapers any further. I'm not saying I would enjoy paying exorbitant prices for juice or anything, or going back to analogues but its just not worth ruining your life for something that you can get in other ways legally.

When I used to partake in other forms of entertainment, I didn't drink, all I did was that. Now I drink if I'm looking for a altered feeling, do I enjoy that more? No, but one of them won't end with me being in jail. Its as simple as that. Nothing is worth risking my freedom for.

I hope that CASAA and the people that fight for our freedom to vape are successful because it does effect me. Personally I don't think anything more then higher taxes and possibly bans on certain flavors or access to certain strengths of nic will ever comedown the pipe but who's to say what really happens, there was a time that all of the drugs on the controlled substance list were legal, now look at them.

I would be flabbergasted. Living in Vegas... I can't imagine the casinos allowing ANYTHING that would force people AWAY from the machines and tables. The smoking ban flopped until they were excluded. Everything pretty much gets approved by them before we can even vote on it... Sometimes that's good. Most times that's REALLY bad.

I am already beginning to stockpile 100mg nic juice because I always worry about being caught with my pants down :p My plan is, since I am already ordering supplies for diy mixing, whenever I order a supply of nicotine, I order two bottles. One for current use, one to date and freeze. I figure by the time any bans drop, I should have enough to get me by for a long time.

And really, it isn't paranoia. The political climate in Florida is very hostile now to anything that may be considered "illicit". A new law banning pipes of ANY KIND (even hookas and the tobacco pipes your grandpas smoked) just became effective today. As the law is written, I'm still wondering if when I go out with my ProVari today, I'll end up in Jail. We'll see :D

Okay, this is misinformation. The so-called .... Bill which Rick Scott signed into law stipulates that it is a felony to sell a pipe to someone you know is going to use it to smoke an illegal substance. (We all know which illegal substance the law is aimed at.)

As such in order to buy a pipe, one need merely not mention what they are going to put in it. Most of the so-called head shops now have instituted a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy and are still in business. In short the law bans nothing, and entirely unenforceable. Which actually makes it good because the other option was Congress defunding grants to Florida for law enforcement, which is used for other worse illegal substances.

Moral of this story? Read the laws passed before commenting on them.

As to the actual topic of this thread: I'd go to the black market. There will be a black market, just like there are black market cigarettes.

Banned altogether? Nah, just corporate greed and corrupt gov tax policy will join the party.

Could you imagine the irony if it was banned altogether? You can legally smoke recreational weed in 2 states (against Federal law) but you are required by law to smoke cigarettes and die an ugly and slow early death. While costing medicaid a few hundred grand in the process. Well, I guess we could all quit cigarettes with NRT's and suicide drugs. I hear those work great. heh.

These threads tickle me. I seriously doubt the act of vaping will be made illegal, but I guess that's a possibility.

But the ingredients for juices and the materials for vaporizers? THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO BE MADE ILLEGAL. Ejuice is made of either vegetable glycerin or propylene glycol. These ingredients are used in thousands, if not tens of thousands of other items, including makeup and food. They are FDA approved and will not get banned. Artificial flavorings will not be banned. There could be no processed food without it. That brings us to nicotine. Nicotine has uses in research, manufacturing and can easily be extracted at home.

Don't buy into any of the fearmongering you hear about Vaping's ingredients going away. The realistic fear is taxation and banning of vaping in public places.

Bingo!

Also lets looks at a mechanical mod PV's.. It's a tube! What is the FDA going to do ban tubes?

People are getting all worked up over what will probably be a higher tax on nicotine and a ban on vaping in already designated non smoking areas..
