I started with Blu, not bad for the first ever, then soon moved on to the Revolver Ion. It was OK but it seemed the battery life was not what it should be. Unfortunately, I went back to analogs but I still wanting to find a good alternative. I am not looking for all the mods, just something out of the box for the most part that is effective and reliable. I have read many reviews and it seems depending on the site, will determine the review. The top three I have come across regardless of site is South Beach, V2 Cigs, and Green Smoke. From your experience, what would you suggest? Even if it isn't one of those is there better? Thanks for any and all input!!

Over the edge...
I just ordered another 1000 mah steel Riva 510 lite bundle. $30 plus shipping. You'll also need some juice. Don't forget to click the 20% off box at the top left of the page. http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=55
Welcome to ECF and good luck.

God bless all the troops - especially the snipers.

Edit: Sorry, forgot the link:)

I haven't tried many HALF of what's out there. But, I am in love with my Lavatube. I have the extended batteries, so they last quite a bit longer than the traditional e-cigs that I used. Again! I have not tried many devices. And I do get funny looks when I use it in public. I don't know how it compares, but that's my 2 cents.

Buy Lava Tube | Get Lava Tubes | Find LavaTubes Carry Case and Accessories

None you listed. I would look at the kGo kits, hoosiersupply.com has a nice one. Get some cartomizers, say 1.7-2.5 ohms and fill with your choice of smoke juice. Enjoy!
Btw, the ones you listed have smaller batteries and cost more for their specific products. This way is more economical and low maintenance.

If you're going to stick with the small, cigarette style e-cigs, I would recommend the Volt from Smokeless Image. Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt - Standard Starter Kit - Starter Kits. It is what I have been using for 2 weeks now. I have no complaints, and I like it. A lot of people recommended it, they actually have quite a following here, their cartomizers get good reviews and arent' super expensive, the flavors of cartridges were pretty meh, but get some blank ones and buy some liquids from some other sites.

Now, this is if you HAVE TO stick with the small, cigarette style ones. If your more open, I would listen to ckone180 and pick up a kGo kit. It isn't that much bigger and people really seem to love it. Good luck out there!

I wouldn't recommend any of the ones you listed. They are all mini's similar to what you already tried.

Here are three of the best beginner models and all three have better batteries than the much over-hyped eGo. They are in the same category and size as the ego and will provide you around 5 - 6 hours on a charge: E-Power 510, Kgo and Riva:

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - EGO E-Power

KGO kit 1100mAh by SLB

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

The Volt is probably the best of the mini's but the battery life sucks!!

Thanks for the input and the shout out to the Military base234. It is always nice hear positive thoughts of the men and women protecting this country... That is where I find this to be troubling LeDean, there are so many out there it makes it difficult to sort out the B.S.

Yeah, there is a variety, but it's good to have those options. I was reading about the original electronic cigarette models.....terrible. LoL

Smokelessimage carries the Volt, and Vapor 4 Life has some good kits as well. They are both a little larger than a traditional cig, and you would have to swap out batteries every few hours. But many people have had good luck with them if you are looking for an alternative that is similar to the size of a real cig. If you want battery life and want to carry a fair amount of juice with you, a REO would be a good choice. They should have some in stock soon I think.

The three links are what I am seriously concidering. Of the three, is one better than the other? Or are they all the same with different names? Thanks again for all the input...

The 3.0 ohm is a bad choice for that device but the other two are fine. With the 3 ohm you will have to take really long drags to be satisfied and will still lack throat hit. 2 ohm will be a good vape. 1.7 will be good too and a little hotter. Someone else will explain why. Excellent choice btw. I feel bad for people who choose ego still
