The US has several postal customs facilities. I have had them clear in 1 to 2 days at most locations. Though, I once had a package stuck in the Chicago customs facility for more than a week for sure. Which facility is yours stuck in?
I knew someone who worked at the Post Office. And I asked them once about Customs Times.
They told me that for Us, there isn't really any Rhyme or Reason. And that Most packages take 1 or 2 Days. But some can take up to 2 Weeks.
She said it can depend on if there is some "Enhanced Enforcement Level". Or if they have found Contraband from a specific Location lately. Or if the Mercury is in Retrograde.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've have had Packages that get stuck in Customs before. And the tracking doesn't update for like a week. Then, in 1 Day, the tracking updates showing that it left Customs a week ago. And it is now Out for Delivery.
Here’s hoping. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I am looking at Jac Vapour porn on a daily basis. I hope it lives up to the hype.
Actually it doesnt say, It just says that it shipped from Heathrow and then when I click on the "next carrier" from Royal Mail, I just get the "USPS is waiting to receive parcel from sender" or whatever it says when its waiting to be scanned through /;
Usually my packages from China clear in 4 days, but my recent package from China took 9 and now it appears this one from the UK is also going to take that long. I have another thatbwas shipped from 3fvape 3 or 4 days ago. Curious to see if it takes 9 days in customs.
Royal Mail says they shipped it off and its left the UK. From their I can click a button to follow it to the U.S. it sends me to USPS and gives me this

So I figured it was waiting for customs to process it and it to get scanned, same as if it were coming from China. I thought it might be a bit quicker from the U.K. but wasnt sure.
Actually that looks like the package has been lost to me. It could still be at "LANGLEY HWDC, UNITED KINGDOM" but it doesn't look to be in the US yet. I would be reaching out to Royal Mail.
If you want to have a bit of fun when calling Royal Mail use a southern accent and ask them "Say, you fellers gonna send me ma package, er you gonna just sit on it 'till it hatches?"
Hahaha, then tell them Im not liable for any related deaths or lost limbs if it does?? hehe
Anyeho, what makes you think its lost? Typically this is what my packages do when they come from China and are waiting to clear customs. The origin post message, then its like x days with cudtoms then pops up on USPS.
Granted I have never ordered from the UK but when ordering from China I see messages that it cleared customs leaving China and then an new entry as soon as it touches US soil. Here are some excerpts from my most recent order.
Leaving China on Oct 6th after clearing customs (took 6 hours to clear customs from arrival scan time):
- 2018-10-06 16:00:00 Customs clearance processing complete.
- 2018-10-06 13:00:00 Parcel is in clearance.
- 2018-10-06 10:00:07 Parcel arrived at the airport.
- 2018-10-05 21:00:59 Departed Hongkong Sorting Centre.
- 2018-10-08 23:41:00 Accepted at USPS Origin Facility, October 8, 2018, 11:41 pm, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA 91730
So to me either your package is still in the UK and they are being SUPER SLOW, or it is completely lost. My guess is it is still in their facility...somewhere, but do THEY know where it is?
Thats really fast shipping from China, who do you buy from typically and how you ship it?
That order was from GearBest. Ordered on Oct 1st, Shipped on the 2nd, and Delivered on the 12th to my door. That was the fastest free shipping. I also sometimes order from Fasttech.
Not all orders go that smoothly. It was an older order from GearBest that got hung up in Chicago for over a week. Of course that is an issue with the USPS and US Customs, not GearBest.

I've ordered from Health Cabin and Heaven's Gifts, each several times. Typical delivery for packages from them via DHL (their choice of carrier)...from order date to delivery at my door = 5-8 days! Has always surprised the heck out of me each time.
Wow thats like half the time mine usually take! Impressive.
Actually, this time I am not seeing anything from them, no tracking notifications, hope there isn't a problem. I was super pleased with them last time. Hope they don't let me down. My FT HCigar Nano hasn't moved in days. Ordered another one from HCigar Store on AE, like 5 days after FT and it is already in the country and on its way to the local post office.
