What's a decent dual coil to run ?

Hey family,

What's a decent dual coil to run to try ? Not looking for clouds. Just flavor and good vape and something to try.

Gauge wire, and ohm range to try per coil, and maybe diameter of coil if it matters ?

Thx so much.

Im no expert by any means but I'm good on ohms law and battery info -

In my experience dual coils must be at around 0.6 ohms at minimum to be effective. Try 28 gauge. Diameter could be anything from 1.5 to 2.5.

I'm no cloud chaser, but I like my vape dense and flavorful.
My go to build is 26ga, 6 wraps on a 2mm coil master. About .4 ohms total.

I use a 28g 8 wrap each on the coil master 2mm jig and come out .55 or there abouts. Give a rich full vape for me at least.

I recently used 26g, 8 wraps per coil around 2.4mm diamter. Came out to 0.5 ohms. On the Reo that's my happy range. Granted on another device that won't be named on this post. I've built down to 0.3 ohms and twisted coils.

If you're into Single Coils, and use either 27g, 28g, or 29g... try using 30g for Parallel coils (two wires side by side). Talk about lightning speed fire up! It fires before you can even touch the firing button.

My usual dual coil build is 26g kanthal, 7 wraps + return on 2mm mandrel. Duals come out to about .42 to .45, depending on the leg length.

Yup.. perfect for mtl hitters and really warm and full of flavor.

29 ga 6 wraps on a 2mm comes out to .55 ohms.

I use two RM3's. I build with 28 gauge, 7 - 8 wraps, comes out to about .50 which I love
