It depends on if you wish to rebuild or not. In non-rebuildable's the Nautilus atomizers are very popular. (they actually can be rebuild - just a bit of a PITA to do so) Fairly small atomizer which screws into a fairly small chamber along with fairly small air flow path. There are quite a few non-Aspire tanks which take/use Nautilus coils.

In rebuildables the Kayfun's and their clones are very popular. Fairly small deck with similar sized air flow. Some models have juice flow control. The Kanger Subtank Mini (and top tank mini) have a bit larger build deck+airflow but can be shut down to "toodle puffing" or MTL.

While many "high output" tanks can be 'shut down' to have limited airflow and power to the coil(s) the effect is not the same. IMHO this mostly effects flavor. Underpowered large coil(s) will vaporize at a different rate/temperature effecting the flavor of the juice. If you generally like a cooler vape this might kinda sorta work but won't be ideal.

All kayfuns have juice control even the early ones, you just do it by threading the chimney up/down

YMMV but might be better to grab a couple rta's that will last forever, than to try and stock up on a crapton of replaceable heads. Wire and cotton/mesh will always be available.
