You do not want to use LR on your Ego. It will substanially shorten the battery life. The LR are more for TH then flavor IMO. Although the flavor is good.

That was what I had heard before. I already have problems keeping enough batteries around in my life. If David would have a "killer sale" on hardware on/around the 17th of the month, then maybe I could get the eGo-T kit for my e-cig purchase this month. (Unless he'd also include juice in the sale, in which case, I'd also order my Menthol Pure Cig for the month.---I know, David doesn't realize that he's running a company for underprivileged vapors. )

Ok, a couple of you have brought up a point that I was wondering about. I read that people used LR attys to increase TH. I don't really need extra TH. But to they also improve the flavor of the juice. All of my attys are regular resistance. (I think that the tanks only come with regular resistance attys as well.)

Personally, I don't care about TH, but I do like LR 306 attys. The flavors really come through on a 306 atty. They will work on your ego and FSUSA sells them. I wish I could tell you more about the tank, but I can't since I've not used it. Concerning cartos though, I prefer 2.5 ohms. I also like Ikenvape's 808 mega cartos (3.0 ohms), but only if I adjust the voltage on my Provari higher (4.2 or 4.3). What brand of cartos are you using?

I was talking about cartos not attys. The 2ohm and the 2.5ohm does give a boost to the draw and increase flavor, but I am still using the same egos I bought when I first started vaping around 6 months ago. Doesn't seem to hurt my batteries. But I do use more than 1 so I am not constantly vaping on just 1 battery. I have heard that attys(lr) will shorten battery life, but I usually don't use those.

Would I need an adapter for the 306 atty? What is the resistance on them? Wouldn't it "run down" the battery?

So, are you saying that 2.5 (for example) would work?

Yes. The higher the ohms the cooler it burns. Many people use the LR atty on ego type batteries (including me) but it is best to know the risk. I am technically challenged but the LR attys (1.5) on the standard 3.7V batteries run the amps up too high (I think) therefore draining the life from your battery. Many people do it anyway but I thought that you should know that there is a chance of killing your battery.

Thanks, that's what I had read as well. That's why I steered clear of anything that said "LR". I'll have to look more closely now.

All I use are LR atty's on my eGo's.

They rate at 1.5ohms, but when I measure, they are around 1.8ohms.

...have never had a battery die...I have about 6 eGo batteries.

The tanks are nice, but the flavor is a bit muted on them...still a good system.

Or, you can just get a map tank from COV...looks a bit weird on an eGo, but you can go with the lowest ohms (2.4), and you can cut and replace your own CE2's....taste is good on them, no wicking issues.

For me, anything over 2.0ohms is too airy...and I'm not into TH...I usually vape 0 nic.

while id highly recomend a 5v mod. it doesnt add a lot of heat like 6v. atomizers any where from 2.5 up to 3.2 run great at 5v.
Welcome to MadVapes LLC has 5v box mods for 28.99 and they just work i got one and love it. they use 14500 batteries and youll need a dual charger. which may seem like a lot but its not that bad. just sell the stuff you dotn really need.

www.boxmods.net- ken is the modder and offeres great prices of vari volt models(id would love to see some other companys vari box prices.) He is a great guy. i recently recieved a box mod from a member on here(wont mention names) said it was one of kens. i didnt recongize the wiring job so i contacted him. and even though i didnt buy a mod from him first hand(apparently the trader didnt either) he took time out to take a look at the pics and confirm it wasnt one of his. or if it was it was modded for some reason.

EDITED by salemgold- Please use PM to talk about other vendors. That is very bad forum etiquette to advertise another vendors products on this forum.

This is the kind of tanks that we were talking about. I tried the "tank cartos" and wasn't impressed. I'm still hoping for a killer sale at FSUSA so that I wouldn't have to pay separate shipping for hardware and "my brand" of go-to juice. (menthol pure cig.)

I'm still not sure that I want "extra heat"---just more flavor. And I still want to resolve the problems with "feeding". Ironic, I was checking out Ken's mods today. When I first started vaping, I stumbled onto the page. But, it was saying that it didn't come with this, that, or that, and I didn't have a clue what it was talking about and why I would need this, that, and that in the first place. I thought that if he was going to sell something, it should come with everything that you need.

No adapter is needed if you have an eGo. They will fit 510 threading. I have 1.5 ohm and 2.0 ohm 306 attys. Yes, they do run down the battery! That's the downside. For example, the batteries on my Provari will last up to 10 hours if using 2.5 ohm cartomizers. But, if I soley use 1.5 ohm attys, I only get about 5 or 6 hours battery use.
