I believe that they originated the e-liquid and some/many flavors were gotten used to because of this. So, if you like a flavor one tends to stick with it. For instance all RY 4 are not even similar , you don't want to order/wait and be disappointed after all. I won't say this is "all the story" but I believe it's at least some part of it.

I recently tried Dekang Tab, Flue cured, and 555. I can see the quality is high but the taste factor is a totally subjective issue so what I think only applies to me. As one who likes mainly dark tobacco juices, Dekangs aren't dark. The flavor is still good enough that I haven't put them in my reject pile. Yet. They offer something alternative for my taste buds but I'd rather have more of my favorite dark juices than the Dekang. I just don't get the same satisfaction from light tobacco juices, even most other flavors as well. I've tried and rejected many flavors and I haven't entirely rejected the Dekangs, so there is something about them that is agreeable. Still I also feel like the hype about Dekang definitely doesn't apply to me.

I think they are one of the older vendors, so they have a track record. But some of the juices do suck, and some are excellent. The two I really like are DK-Tab, and RY4.

I love these two as well, I just got 50ml of each in the mail today. They are pretty cheap too, I think I paid 9$ for 1 bottle and 11$ for the other (one was on sale)

Ballyhoo! I don't know about Dekang, but I'd like to thank you for bringing "hoopla" back. All these newfangled words talkin' about this n that, it's all poppycock and pettifoggery I tell you. I'm flabbergasted at these canoodling kids and their shenanigans nowadays, makes me want to challenge them to fisticuffs. Sorry that I got in such a kerfuffle over this, carry on.

Also, it has changed a little. The legendary juices aren't what they used to be. That being said, I'm a big fan of the 555, although I haven't had any in a couple of weeks. Some vendors mix the recipe themselves too. Some other vendors buy it and relabel it under their own brand. Mostly though, when you get it from a vendor who sells the straight dekang, you always know what you are getting and what it should taste like. The only difference I get from my vendor that I look for is when he gets new stock in and when it has sat on his shelves for a couple months.
