Hi just got my Riva1100t it been two days now..... took a cig and smoked two drags and put it out yesterday didnt even feel the need to smoke it...i finding so easy not to smoke normal cigs...i been looking on getting some more Cartomisers but what does the different Ohms do..and also can anyway tell me a decent cig size ecig to go along with my Riva1100T for a more social look when out...maybe black with blue tip...thanks...

the lower the ohms the hotter/quicker the coil gets = more vaper and a more instant hit with the actual flavour ( but may get to hot and destroy the taste/flavour ) the down side with the lower resistance coils is the battery will not last as long and you are more likely to get some funky tastes going on ( due to the higher temp of the coil and the construction ) . Im no expert but this is my take on it, hopefully someone else will also chip in.

The Volt from smokeless image is a great cig type PV. They come in various colors and tip color combinations.

Ohm is the resistance of the atty or cartomizer. the lowest the ohm the less it "resists" the voltage from the battery producing more watts (or so I think) I use a 1.7ohm cart with my KGO and it works great producing a lot of warm vapor and better TH

Cartos come in different resistances (OHM is a measure of resistance). 2 ohm and below is low resistance and is good for 3.4v to 3.7v and produces higher heat (wattage). A standard atomizer or carto is generally around 2.5 ohms and produces a milder vape. 3 ohm and above are for higher voltages and people usually use them above 4v.

Dual coil cartos are two 3.2 ohm coils wired in parallel, giving an effective resistance of 1.6 ohms, and produce good vapor with lower voltages. Depending on the battery(s) you use, dual coils may draw too much current to be of use. If you have variable voltage, you can use all of them. You just need to set the voltage for the best vape. Start low and work up to what's best for you.

The Riva 1100 will work with dual coil cartos, but battery life will be shorter and you will be pushing the battery to its limit. The Riva batteries are all 3.7v, so a 2 ohm carto may be your best bet. That will put you at almost 7 watts. If that's not enough, try the dual coils.

Sounds like you are doing really well Fallen :D

Basically, the lower the ohms the hotter the cartomiser will burn, so giving you more throat hit. However, with a Riva, it's best not to go below 2.0 ohms.

Hows about this black mini 510 kit - it's only got the one battery though, but they do sell extra batteries.
