New to the Forum just saying hello. My wife and I are new to vaping. we decided to give it a shot after countless other quit smoking methods failed to work even remotely.( including the gas station style e-cigs )

we are each running an EVOD tank ( I replaced the element in my two tanks with a slightly larger element/tube or whatever not sure what it is called exactly because I was getting a lot of leakage into the battery ) on a REV/Smoov 650ma variable voltage base and really really liking it so far. I am down to less than a pack a week and the wife has stopped smoking traditional cigarettes altogether.

ANyhoo, greeting from the nowhere burbs of Chicago.

I dunno..it might be a toss up between Elgin and CL. Better than the MC Henry either way....at least we have a super target
Any good Vape shops you'd recomend in the NW Burbs. We have been going to the one in Volo which seems okay. Never been to any others so it is hard to say.

I dig the EVOD though I have no real basis for comparison except for the e-cigs like the mystic or njoy. One of my cooks at work has a dial a volt with the paper element and I prefer the EVOD/Smoov combo no question. Thinking about trying an e-go battery because the smoov has been having a few small issues, maybe they are just quirks. Is the smoov just a knock-off e-go? MY wifes purple smoov base seems as if it is constructed a bit better than my silver model.

CigTechs in Hanover Park is PERFECT! It's worth the drive. Such great knowledgable guys and a great selection of items from batts, tanks, mods, juice, etc.

Also, to get a signature, you have to get your post count to 15 and wait for the system to reset (should be within an hour), then you can put a banner in your sig. If you like someone's banner, click it, and it should bring you to a site to make your own.

+100 Cigtechs rocks.:toast:

I'll have to check cigtechs out.

as far as flavors, it has only been about a month so we have yet to delve into it too deeply.

We started with a german chocolate and a camel inspired tobacco flavor, I decided to mix the chocolate and tobacco 70/30 tobacco/chocolate that turned out to be epic

then the wife bought a jolly rancher style strawberry/watermelon, again I mixed that with the tobacco even more epicness
Next I picked up a real fruit flavor peach mango and that mixed with the desert mule tobacco flavor rules as well. All mixed 50/50 pg/vg

no doubt about it being a new obsession. I really don't like the analog smokes ( i like that ) as much as the vape these days. I only have 2 or 3 a day out of the 20+ year habit. I spend a lot of time in the car to and from work so I cave while I am driving..Highland Park is far
