Speaking of old. My first car had one of these.

I loved 8-track players, they were the best! Plus you could find new music at the donation stores.

Wow another 8 track fan! I have a cherry Muntz 8 track and tape selection that I aquired to go with it stashed away in a box for a future old truck restoration project I have been gathering parts for at the place in Seattle.

My name is simple.

My name is Jon (or Jonathan if you're my Mother/Girlfriend/Nick/Beau/Katy).

Back home in England, cigarettes are referred to as Tabs. We also call them something else, but I didn't think Fagfreejon was appropriate for a public forum here in the colonies.

I learned about the slang word tab after a pal stopped calling them fags which I'd alway heard them called and started posting things like, "Man! vaping has killed my cravings for a tab!!!" And I was all  "What? I didn't think Tab was even sold anymore and why can't you just switch to Coke???" They had a good time with that one...

That was Saccharine in Tab...funny thing? That whole "IT WILL CAUSE CANCER!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" thing was proven to be false. You know what they found out? Lab rats bread for testing get cancer fast and easily even when they are fed healthy...If the tests are using wild rats they do not get cancer. Again, bad science makes this former scientist very, VERY YELLY!!!

I believe that Tab was Coca Cola's answer to Diet Right from Pepsi. Both have been replaced by DC And DP. I think that Tab is still available in some area's or country's. I do not partake in soda any longer my self except for the occasional mix with something just a wee bit stronger.....:p

Likewise...not due to a concern for any reason except my teeth and bones due to the phosphorus. That and guzzling green tea all day is very beneficial so i'm sticking with that...plus it's much cheaper.

I have a bottle of Blue Steam "Blue Fog". Its an earl grey flavor and not at all for the faint at heart. Myself, I am an Irish black tea fan and a double bagger at that.

Bags????

You need to try my tea company, if you PM me your email addy I'll send you a $5 coupon to try them. And buy yourself a strainer from them too....BAGS??!!! I'm horrified....(They do sell bags if you must...) And when I did black tea I was a huge fan of Earl Grey and I drank it very dark. Most coffee is pale in comparison to my tea.

Yep! Bags! I am a traditionalist and when ever anyone comes to visit from the auld sod, they know to bring me two things. Bewley's or Lyons tea and Jammie Dodgers and or Digestives.( tea and bickies) When my MIL comes, the order is double! When I go there , I always make sure there is a little extra room in the suitcase. Its just too bad that the sausages wont make it through customs. That's it, time to go make a wee sop of tea!

Enabled again!

My MIL always brought me PG Tips, or (some other tea brand I can't remember now because my brain has holes) and Digestives when she was going back across the pond to visit her mum in London. Not so much now as Moppit died last year so she doesn't go back to the UK anymore...*sigh*

PG tips is just fine in a pinch but it can be had here. Typhoo is another one of my favorites. I have the digestives out and the kettle on the boil. I'm going to spread a little bit of Vela Cheese "Bear Flag" brand butter ( made just north of here in Sonoma CA and simply the best!) on them and have myself my own little tea party.
