So, it's my one-year anniversary today. 7300 cigarettes not smoked.

I like numbers, so let's crunch a few.

Based on some very hasty (and probably inaccurate) research, that's approximately 167,900 milligrams of tar not inhaled. 131,400 milligrams of CO not inhaled. Who knows about the other stuff?

It's also 608 hours and 20 minutes of sucking on a cigarette, based on a five-minute smoke. 25 days, 8 hours and 20 minutes.

That's roughly seven percent of a year. Destroying my health.

Now, I haven't gained all that back, time-wise, but I've definitely benefited from using that time in a better way.

It's also just shy of $3,000.00 that I haven't devoted to making myself sick.

Couldn't have done it without you all.

:toast: Here's to your health.

Congrats you guys. I'm a year cig free may 4th. Funny though I just realized I had no plans for a 'reward' or somesuch. I got myself a GGTS at 6months though and that was a big deal to me then -- really though, I don't even feel the need for 'reward' anymore, I mentally made the transition to non-smoker long ago and it's really just a fact/part of life that I am smoke free now.

Hmmm. I'm really just realizing some of this now. Neat. I am a non-smoker for real. And for one year already.

Ecigs truly are a miracle.
