I noticed that liquid from different vendors have different color. Just tobacco juices from separate vendors will have significantly different color all the way from clear to mildly tinted clear to very dark. Cherry from one will be clear, and from others it will be bright red. I got one bottle of coffee that looked as if a cup of espresso had been poured into a bottle and from another the coffee was clear.

I am assuming the difference is in the flavoring. do different brands of flavoring have different colors? Who has experience with this? And is this an issue?

It all depends on the flavorings.
one manufaturer of cherry flavor might put in red color, another might not.

With the tobacos, depends on how they get the tobaco flavor, (absolute, etc...) and what aditional flavors they put in.

Its not "really" an issue, just some will leave a residue on attys or in cartos which can lead to premature failures.
Personally, I like to stay with more clear liquids if I can, but I do get some darkerer liquids that vape clean (no residue).

On a side note, nicotine often has a slight red/pink tint so higher nic content might be slightly darker compaired to lower from same manufacturer/flavor.
