wasn't sure where to post this, but i think modders may have the best shot at knowing the answer?...
just bought an Echo -- LOVE it, but the humongous LED at the end of it is causing me some problems on the homefront. he says it's SO bright, that he's being "blinded" by it when sitting across from me in a dimly lit room or outside at night (yeah right; although, ok, it is indeed kinda super-dee-duper bright, lol)...
so, i started thinking about how i could remedy the situation -- and i think i've found a way:
what if i removed the bottom of an old Ego passthrough (the part that the cord plugs into), and glued that in place of my Echo's LED, and then screwed on the Ego's end cap? sounds too easy....which usually means i'm totally wrong -- which leads me to my question:
is the part that the cord plugs into on an Ego passthrough rather shallow, kinda like how an adapter would be? or is it actually part of the huge battery itself?
if it is, i imagine you're having yourself a good laugh right now.
thanks for any help you can offer.
