hey, I've not been in the market/loop for a little while. My sons SVD is 'smoking' I'm guessing it's a short, my legend is on the fritz. I have many back-ups,I would rather keep them back-ups!

Anything good on the market lately, nothing fancy, smallish, good value? Tube mod, not wanting box.

Thanx!!

So, the Provari is still up in the ratings!! I may have to finally consider, now that they seem more affordable than they were a few years ago!!

I've had earlier versions of LavaTube, not a bad device, I would consider again, although I did have a version with a plastic body, no Bueno! Thanx!!

Any more advice is welcome!!

If you're looking on a budget, you probably can't go wrong with a Provari 2.5. Sign up for their newsletter and they send out 10% off codes pretty regularly. I get the coupons pretty often even though I determined tubes weren't for me, but I'm on their mailing list.

It will last you longer than an SVD or Vamo, and can be repaired.

If you want to spend more, the Dicodes and Pipeline are pretty exciting.
