After using this istick 50 and prior to this, the istick 30, I am simply amazed how much power (both battery and wattage) they were able to squeeze into such a small package for such a small price.

It got me thinking as to what the next flagship model from e-leaf is going to bring.

Here's a list of what I'd like to see in the next version. What would you like to see and what do you think is even possible for the next model?

If we are keeping the next version the same size as the current iStick 50, I would like to see a slightly larger battery. Maybe a 4800 mAh. More power in the range of 75 watts along with temperature control. Lastly, it would be cool to see a color display.

I also wouldn't mind the iStick getting slightly larger however I'd want at least 100 watts of power along with a 5,000 mAh battery.

I don't really need higher wattage.

The ONLY thing I don't like about the IStick, and I really love it, is that it's slick and slippery as hell. I worry about it slipping out of my paws...

Overall, I'm floored by the power and battery life on this puppy! Great size, as well. Don't make the next one any larger, in my opinion....

I'd like them to release rubber sleeves, ala Vapor Shark! The Vapor Shark sleeves were about $8, fit tight as a drum, and provided great grip to the device.

Yea, those rubber sleeves for the Shark are awesome. I think we will see one for the i50 within the next month.

In regards to power, I wouldn't mind seeing an iStick 100 for those of us who could use the extra power. Right now that's the only thing keeping the iStick 50 from being my daily driver. Right now it only has enough power for me when I'm out and about or maybe running it as a second device while I'm home.

I get the feeling that they're going to focus more on the tank side of things for now.

Those Isticks are damn near perfect.

I don't know if I'd say perfect. The fire button could be more refined and the 510 connection could be a little better as well. That's just me being picky though.

As someone new at all this who's still researching these things, I'd sorta like to see some relatively minor tweaks in V.2 iSticks and then they might be just about perfect to my untrained eyes.

It seems like the 50W's firing button design would be nice retrofitted on a 30W, with placement of the USB port not on the bottom of the unit (20/30) or the top of the side (50) but on the bottom of the side or front (make sense?), and, yes, some kind of textured surface really sounds ideal.

Think there would be any interest in a 40 watt version to incorporate all those changes? That'd at least have their line up in increments of 10 for us OCD/CDO folks...

if next gen device still carries 50W "asthetics"

i vote they move the usb connector... where its at, its ugly as :censored: and makes it weird handling when being charged/used as a passthru - either slide it down towards the bottom, or put it back on the bottom like how it was for the istick 20 and 30

Yea, the side on the top is a weird place for it. I think it would be better on the bottom side.

I'd bet good money temp control is next and it will be in the 40w range with a reasonable price. Replaceable battery down the road I would think, but maybe better lipo's. Prolly a few RTA's and sub tanks.

I don't think we will ever see a user replaceable battery in the iStick line. They aren't really intended for that. Also, there is no way they could have made the 50 watt the size it is now with two 18650's.
