With nicotine in me I'm a nasty unpleasent person tp be around.

Without nic I'm simply unbearable.

Patches and pills for nicotine work ok for a little while but then I get sick of using them and go without nic for a period that ranges from a few minutes to one time a couple years.

But sooner or later the nicotine monster returns and I'm smoking again. Slowly at first then back ovr two packs a day or more within a week.

So vaping is a great way to get my nic. I use the same ammount per day now as when I started. I use better deliver machines more but the dayily total is the same.

One thing I am growing sick of is carrying one with me all the time. I'm busy and don't want anything in my hands or on my person. So I have been using very powerful gear that gives me a fast dose of nic and then I don't think about it again for hours.

All right I've been seeing you post a lot so I know you've been off cigs for like two days and have already tapered down your nic.

What's next? SLOW DOWN. This isn't a 100 yard dash. You haven't even fully gotten yourself off the other addictive chemicals in cigarettes and you're already worried about your nicotine levels and if you're going to be able to quit vaping. Relax, take a vape, take another vape. The last thing you should be worried about is whether or not you're addicted to nicotine, unless you weren't a smoker prior which I've read and know you were.

Can I quit vaping? Pretty sure I can. Do I want to try? Nope. I'm addicted to caffeine, nicotine, and plenty of other things that aren't even addictive. Could I quit? Sure. I've quit a lot of things in life, I have a very strong suspicion that the transition from cigs to vaping is the hardest "quit" there is. I feel like cutting down to 0 nic, or even stopping vaping entirely would be easier than that transition. Still don't want to, and I'll have another latte please. I quit smoking because it was dangerous and disgusting, I no longer have those reasons.

Also, you know moving forward, you don't have to make a thread for every question. There's enough of us around here that waste enough time on this forum that you can pretty much guarantee a discussion will be had on whatever you want to ask in any other thread.

As I see, most of you Vaping for 4-5 years by now...So definitely its addictive...Ever thought bout this fact? Actually my question is, is there anything says "Quitting Vaping"? Do you ever think of that...Like no nic...nothing...no addiction.... If yes, is quitting to vape that tough like quitting smoking?

For me there may be no quitting vaping.

I DIY my Juice and I started at 18 mg nicotine. Had smoked for 38 years.

Gradually weaned myself down to 3 mg nic. I went our to eat and did not take my vape. There was a heated argument. I was under stress and borrowed two cigs.

I got home and. My nicotine demon was not satisfied with 3 mg. It wanted NICOTINE NOW!

I made 12 mg juicd abd weaned myself off completely. I have been vaping 0 mg Juice for about 7 1/2 months. Doing great. I don't ever intend to stop vaping. I simply refuse to let that demon on mg back again..

    I tried cold Turkey
    I tried the gum
    I tried the Patches
    I tried hypnosis.
I tried vaping and it worked beyond my wildest dream!

Lost my addition to nicotine a few months after I started vaping. That was after 35+ years of smoking. I vape because I enjoy it, not because I'm addicted to it. I often vape 0 nic juice and have for years now. I like the taste of nic in some of my juices so I add it. No big deal either way.

I can easily go for 15 hours going to and from - and while at work without vaping nic. I've never tried to quit altogether.

With cigarettes I was a wreck before I could get out of bed. I was hacking up phlegm, and felt like garbage walking up two to three flights of stairs.

I have no intention of quitting vaping. I vape. I like it. That is all that should concern you if you like YOUR OWN LIBERTY. I'll do what I want to do, you do what you want to do, as long as we are not harming anyone else.

FDA and nosy good for nothings be damned.

Quite a few of the people I know through vaping have eventually stopped vaping altogether and not returned to smoking. They are invisible to most of us as they simply stopped participating in this vaping forum. They had nothing more to say.

Yep I think of quitting Vaping soon. I've been down to 3mg nic this year and I go out now without my Vape gear.
Vaping anymore is a at home pleasure

:)I always was a little different. After all the purpose to begin with was to quit a smoking habit, not really take on another habit. SO quitting at some point should be the point:thumb:
