Well I think most of you didn't get my POV...Like an addiction free life what I asked...Does anyone wants that or not...Like think of a situation where a social gathering going on....n there's some silly gals aswell those used to say "uuh smoking! through that away" lol....Now if you're used to carry your gear even after vaping for 5 years... You're technically a Botheration to the society.... I'm not saying anything like "I'll change the world with fresh air" just came on mind...the future of vaping habit...personally I own 3 devices n I carry those by size on different places....like for work/rushed my evod pens....too easy to carry...For a gathering or like for a place where I can sit down n relax n also allowed to smoke, my kanger sub tank....like that....But tbh if people treat me wrong in future, I'll try not to vape and start a new journey, Quitting vaping....hope you guys got my point....soooory for the long text [emoji5][emoji28]

:)I always was a little different.[emoji38] After all the purpose to begin with was to quit a smoking habit, not really take on another habit. SO quitting at some point should be the point:thumb:
At starting I used to think like that....I don't want a new habit by quitting one...but now Vaping seems fun n cool if u don't push nic....like 24mg...30ml a day.... I'll be down to zero very soon....n will be Vaping for fun [emoji5]

Vaping cools me down! I'm down to 3-6 mg's I started vaping on 24 mg's. I think I'm at the point where If I don't have my vape mod I will be okay! It's not as an intense craving like cigarettes were for me. Some e juice manufacturers sell juice that causes me to breathe funny! So I just stay on the stuff that suites me.

I setup a close friend of mine with a vape when she wanted to quit smoking. It totally worked; she kicked the cigs (she was almost 2 packs a day and smoked for 20 years) then moved on to vaping for a year.

She slowly moved from 12 nic down to 0 nic over that year. Her vape mod was like her baby bottle, and one time she left it at home on a trip and freaked out. But since she had to go without it, she realized it was more of a mental thing. She dropped it like it was nothing, and never looked back. In fact, she makes fun of me to this day "you're still doing that" all high and mighty. It's pretty funny.

She never really loved vaping though...it was more a means to an end for her. I think that's a big part of it. It seems to be more of a mental compulsion, rather than a true 'addiction.' That's my two cents anyway. I know I could stop it at any time, which is something I couldn't have said about cigs. I just like it, which is why I don't. But I plan to eventually.

Its all mental...smoking cigarettes or Vaping....even coffee...iv seen people quitting in 1hour of thinking after smoking for more than 15 years....without any help of vapor or any sort of nic delivery

Life is tough in 6mg...man 18 is holly grail! I wish if I had even a week to vape 18mg...6mg tastes more like sweets to me on my sub ohm...3ml left, my last 3ml of 18mg...have to have adjust my body with 6mg [emoji52]

May I ask, where is "here" that you can no longer get 18mg ejuice?

As I see, most of you Vaping for 4-5 years by now...So definitely its addictive...Ever thought bout this fact? Actually my question is, is there anything says "Quitting Vaping"? Do you ever think of that...Like no nic...nothing...no addiction.... If yes, is quitting to vape that tough like quitting smoking?
One of my relapses came after 10 years. That won't happen again. In fact I've smoked a couple in the 22 monhs since I stopped to prove it. They tasted bad, gave me a headache. Consider how revolutionary THAT is. There's not a whole lot of incentive to quit. My DIY costs 7 cents a day, takes less time than smoking outside. I can vape on the shop floor at work. I've never been calmer. If the nic supply is cut off I'll work harder on reducing nic without increasing ml's. I'll be a little suprised if I stop vaping. I'll vote for trump because if I have to be miserable I want company.

I started vaping in 2010 and quit both vaping and smoking three months later. Quit for five years. In 2015, I learned about using nicotine as a nootropic (to improve focus, reaction time, memory, etc.). The author of that post is not pro-vaping, but it was his research in nicotine that got me interested.

Anyway, I decided to pull out my old e-cig to give it a try. The battery no longer worked, so I went online to check prices for a new one and learned that vaping was completely different from when I first vaped.

I bought an iStick 20 watt and Nautilus mini and loved it. I'm a huge tech geek and vaping appealed to that side of me, so it became a hobby. I don't feel like I'm addicted. There are days where I don't vape at all. I never vape around my wife or daughter, no matter what time of day it is or how long it's been since I last vaped. I just don't need it. It's not at all like my cigarette addiction was.

Yeah, swore I'd never reply to one of the op's threads, gonna do a hit and run.
Ivebeen told for years, by many "experts" I was an alcoholic because of the volume I consumed, 1.75l of whiskey every 2-3 days. I had buddy tell me "Man, you aren't an alcoholic! An alcoholic is a person that wants to quit drinking, but can't! You have no desire to quit!"
I spent four days in the hospital a few months ago, my pancreas shut down from the drinking. I go through a .75l every two? weeks now. I was dry for four weeks after my visit.
Smoking, I just can't do it. I suffer from chronic pain, I'm loaded on Fentynal, and other wonderful meds. I vape 36mg NET juice as often as I can get it, but it doesn't satisfy my needs. BUT I've gone from 3-5 packs a day to less than one pack a day.
    Choose your battles wisely.

The benefits of nicotine are real - I'm turning 60 and will continue using it for the foreseeable future. Here's a summary from http://www.prymd.com/blog/benefits-of-nicotine/

    In a nutshell:

    • Nicotine has a significantly different effect on the human body when isolated from cigarette smoking.
    • Nicotine has been shown to improve selective attention, sustained attention, and decrease distraction. It also seems to affect pre-attentional processing – the unconscious accumulation of information from the environment. A recent meta-analysis founds significant positive effects of nicotine on fine motor skills, short-term episodic memory accuracy, orientating attention reaction time and working memory.
    • The potential risk associated with acute use of nicotine is predominantly mediated by vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels) and hypertension (high blood pressure) in susceptible individuals (those with pre-existing heart/vascular disease).
    • Nicotine is NOT classified as a carcinogen (substance capable of causing cancer), and there are no epidemiological studies that link stand-alone nicotine and formation of cancer.
    • New evidence suggests that there may be use for nicotine in mild cognitive decline in the older demographic, preventing and treating Alzheimer’s dementia, treating Parkinson’s disease, schizophrenia and ADHD.

I'd like to eventually get back to where I smoked in college but vape instead of smoke - just 3-4 cigs a day, after a big meal, studying breaks, when drinking etc. No physical addiction. But it doesn't seem too realistic currently.

Agreed anything but mental. Especially coffee. Try having just 2 cups a day for a few weeks then having none and tell me the migraines are mental.
