actually I took a day off from veterans day promotions. I normally did every year to honor my fellow vets. this particular year was a bit maudalin for me and I could never put my finger on it. There are guys and girls in the trenches. we sell apo/fpo to active military every day and truthfully? it saddens me. I know those dug in foxholes well. they are eating canned food and mre's tonight while we eat fresh hot food and go to sleep in comfortable beds awaking to a hot shower in the morning.
sorry folks, I just could not get into a rhythm this year on this one.
Next year I promise a full blown dedicate to the vets special. This year I just feel sad for all who served and get very little recoginition for it.
Any active duty military or deactived vets out there want to contact me I will make it right with you

I like that idea David.... toss a deal to the vets, and only vets... the rest don't need to save a buck on their backs!

I made an azz of myself today from acting before thinking, as usual. In a show of respect, I told someone Happy Veteran's Day. The reply I got was far from making it a happy day for him; in fact, quite the opposite. This days brings him memories of hard knowing what all he had to play witness to and friends he lost. I was in tears while not even being able to fathom what all he had to be feeling. Yeah, a blowout special for any and all vets next year would be wonderful!

I learned years ago that veterans day is often a sad day for vets. My Father goes to the Vietnam memorial every year around this time to leave something at the foot of the wall.

I went with him last year because he has Parkinson's disease now and it is tough for him to do it himself. It is the only time I have ever seen him cry. It was one of the most surreal yet profound moments I have ever shared with him.

Hay Dave how about next year give us the opportunity to sponsor a vet by sending them Juice. I would be in for a few 30ml bottels on that.

I was just thinking out loud. I have been in foxholes eating canned food and would love to make there day better if I could.
