I'll just post one with her horse. There was a moose pic, after all...

That wasn't one of the options, sir.

The only Provari killer I've seen is a lawnmower, and it still didn't quite get the job done.

I think it got the job done adequately....only one salvageable element.....yeah, it was killed :p. All mods that break or are damaged somehow will have salvageable parts, the difference being you had somewhere to send yours for repairs. Innokin is opening up a service/repair center in California...so now innokin owners (also well built reliable products, except for the bad button flaw on some of the first svd's) will have the same repair instead of throw away option.

When someone asks for opinions while contemplating a purchase, it is perfectly acceptable for people to offer alternatives. This thread became pandemonium because when some people dared to do so and give their view of negatives on the provari in question, tar, torches and pitchforks came out. That not only looks bad, it helps no one, OP or otherwise. On the other side, it also looks bad to keep arguing the same point over and over. A proper rebuttal to the first pitchfork style comment would be "I can see you love your Provari so much you won't accept a negative opinion, I am glad you have found a device that works so well for you. The Provari isn't that device for me because of the aforementioned reasons, and the OP can use this info to decide whether or not those would be issues for him."

No name calling, no device bashing, just facts and personal opinion laid out in a reasonable manner. That would benefit us all. The 800hz vs 33.3hz vs DC to DC...these are the types of info we as buyers need. Why you prefer a certain software or button layout we need, as we may have similar preference....but please don't bash on someone for their preferences....personal opinion on preferences is NEVER wrong.

I've watched this argument from the beginning with very little interjection, and I will say that while both sides are in the wrong in how the debate has been handled, this would never have gotten so bad if so many provari lovers didn't immediately jump all over a few people who opined a better device for reasons they listed. Yes, it was only their opinion, which device is better almost always is.

The salvageable element was the brains though.

ah......you can't coincide with a statement, of opinion or fact......you may CONCEDE however :p

Damn I hate being called out on typos!!! You got me,:toast:

Too bad edits don't transfer to quotes.

But my most classic typo ever, came in an email that I sent to grad school. It read:

"I am defiantly still interested in enrolling in your graduate program."

It took me a while to live that one down.

PS ......and btw, yes, I was still accepted.:p

I'm just catching up here....a lot of posts while I was working....BTW, I work with horses so my gear goes through hell also.....but I do my outside vaping on a panzer clone that is built like a tank, so :p

The big question is, do your horses have three or more buttons and/or an oled display?

Read most of this thread til it went really sideways bout 20 pages back. Upgraded to a provari 2.5 within a few weeks of quitting smokes months back when I started vaping. It does what it does top notch....but it's not perfect by any means and it is limiting.
I love my kayfun and the provari makes a perfect pair. But I've also found a new love in drippers as well...for flavor.
The provari and drippers are not a good match. 15 watts is not enough...nor will 20 be. A dual coil...even around one ohm is a very satisfying everyday pedestrian vape. No chance on the provari.
Gave my provari to my daughter and she loves it. I still have to build her kayfun coils for her. Bought a tatroe atlas and I'll never look back. 11 watt bank setting for the kayfun and a 36 watt bank setting for dripping. Perfection depending on what I want at the time.
I ride the subway to and from work everyday and have to put my apv in my bag. Honestly...the amount of clicks and scrolls it takes in the sunlight to turn the provari off and back on is really frustrating. Now 3 clicks locked...3clicks unlocked.
Sorry to be long winded.just think there are better less limiting choices.
Loved the provari but I outgrew it.
